Paglat Police Arrest Top Most Wanted for Murder

Maguindanao Del Sur PPO — June 24, 2026 — Police operatives from Paglat Municipal Police Station, led by PLT LOU CHRISTIAN E VILLONES and supported by the 3rd MP Maguindanao Del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company, PIU, PIDMU, and the 3rd Mechanized Infantry Company under 1LT ROY MANUEL PELIJO, PA, arrested a suspect ranked Number 1 Most Wanted in Paglat and Number 8 Most Wanted in Maguindanao del Sur.

The arrest was based on a Warrant of Arrest for Murder (Case No. SA‑1111) issued by Hon. Annabelle D.P. Piang, Executive Judge of RTC Branch 15, Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao.

The suspect was brought to Paglat MPS for documentation and custody. Investigators confirmed the accused is also among the Top 5 Most Wanted in Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat, with another warrant for violating Section 11, Article II of RA 9165.

Provincial Director PCOL MICAHEL JOHN C MANGAHIS praised the team’s coordinated effort, emphasizing that “violators will be held accountable wherever they may be.”

MDS PPO Ramps Up Fight vs Child Exploitation in Marawi Meet

Maguindanao Del Sur PPO, under the leadership of Provincial Director PCOL MICHAEL JOHN C MANGAHIS, joined the Regional Anti‑Child Online Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking Task Force (RACETTF) Coordination Meeting held on June 24, 2026, at Sindaw Lakeside Hotel, Marawi City. The delegation was led by PLTCOL ALMA P LADRERA, Chief of the Provincial Women and Children Protection Desk (PWCPD), alongside WCPD teams from Datu Saudi Ampatuan and Datu Abdullah Sangki Municipal Police Stations.

Hosted by RACETTF Region XIV (BARMM) under Regional Prosecutor Atty. Rohaira A Lao, the meeting gathered WCPD personnel from the Lanao provinces, representatives from partner agencies, and PCAPT RACHELL G MAGPATOC, Chief of Regional WCPD‑PRO BAR. Discussions focused on enhancing inter‑agency coordination to combat Trafficking in Persons (TIP), Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC), and Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM), with participants sharing updates, best practices, and recommendations.

During the session, PLTCOL LADRERA presented Maguindanao Del Sur PPO’s latest accomplishments in addressing these crimes. This active participation highlights the command’s strong commitment to safeguarding women and children, ensuring a safer and more secure environment across the province.

United Front: BPATs and PNP Drive Anti-Criminality, Strengthen Peace in Datu Saudi Ampatuan

Maguindanao del Sur PPO — June 24, 2026 — The Philippine National Police, MDSPPO, under the leadership of Provincial Director, PCOL MICHAEL JOHN C MANGAHIS, represented by PLTCOL LENDSY S SINSUAT, DPDA, attended the 2nd Quarter Joint Meeting of Local Special Bodies at the Municipal Hall of Datu Saudi Ampatuan, presided over by Mayor Hon. DATU BASSIR D UTTO. The meeting gathered AFP units, BFP, PDEA, and focal persons from various councils, all presenting operational gains and achievements in support of peace and development.

PLT MOHAMMAD U ALI, Chief of Police, reported significant strides in anti-drug campaigns and barangay drug-clearing operations. PLTCOL SINSUAT, in his message, reaffirmed the PNP’s commitment to anti-criminality efforts through intensified community policing, barangay patrols, and rapid response mechanisms. He emphasized that data-driven policing and inter-agency collaboration are vital to addressing emerging threats and sustaining law enforcement gains.

Following the meeting, the “Talk to BPATs” activity was conducted with the participation of the Mayor, agency heads, LGU officials, Barangay Captains, and BPAT members. PLTCOL SINSUAT highlighted the role of BPATs as front liners in crime prevention, stressing their importance as force multipliers who extend police presence, mediate disputes, and provide immediate response at the grassroots level. Partner agencies echoed their support, recognizing BPATs as indispensable in strengthening peace and order.

The Maguindanao Del Sur PPO, under the leadership of Provincial Director PCOL MICHAEL JOHN C MANGAHIS, PLTCOL GLENN MAR B AVISA, DPDO, representative together with PCPT AKSAD LACSON, COP, Guindulungan MPS, highlighted the key administrative and operational accomplishments of the Guindulungan Municipal Police Station during the 2nd Quarter Joint Meeting of Local Special Bodies held on June 24, 2026, at the Municipal Training Center, Guindulungan. The session was presided over by Municipal Mayor and LSB Chairperson Hon. DATU GUIADZALI M MIDTIMBANG, JD, and attended by officials from the AFP, PNP, sectoral bodies, and barangay captains.

Continuing Education and “Talk to BPATs” Activity Strengthens Partnership in Talayan

Maguindanao Del Sur PPO— June 23, 2026 - The Talayan Municipal Police Station, under the leadership of PLT MOHAMAD K AMPATUAN, Officer‑in‑Charge, successfully conducted the “Continuing Education and Talk to Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams (BPATs)” activity at 1:00 PM today.

Representing PCOL MICHAEL JOHN C MANGAHIS, Provincial Director of the Maguindanao Del Sur Police Provincial Office, was PMAJ MICAHEL L AMERIL of the Provincial Public Safety Mobile Unit. Also in attendance were PCMS Tahir T. Agao, Chief Clerk of PCADU‑MDSPPO; the Municipal Administrator of Talayan, Hon. Abdulmaola M. Ulama; Barangay Captains from all fifteen barangays; and BPAT members.

The dialogue centered on critical issues of public safety, crime prevention, and strategies to sustain peace and order across the municipality. PNP Pushes 15 Priority Bills for Stronger Service

Maguindanao Del Sur PPO- On June 22, 2026, the Maguindanao Del Sur Police Provincial Office reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening police services and advancing personnel welfare through a courtesy meeting with Hon. Congressman ESMAEL G MANGUDADATU. Ampatuan MPS and LGU Bring Essential Services to Remote Barangay Tubak

The Maguindanao Del Sur Police Provincial Office, under Provincial Director PCOL MICHAEL JOHN C MANGAHIS, together with the Ampatuan Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PCPT QUISEPPE Q TAMAYO, partnered with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Ampatuan to conduct a convergence program in Barangay Tubak, a remote and disadvantaged area. The activity was joined by Mayor Hon. Datu RASUL M SANGKI , PhD, various LGU departments, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and other stakeholders. Despite difficult road conditions, the team delivered vital government services and humanitarian aid such as food packs, maternity kits, wheelchairs, hygiene kits, slippers, and medical assistance.

The program also supported education by distributing school supplies to learners in Barangay Tubak, helping prepare them for the upcoming school year. This holistic effort shows the commitment of the LGU and Ampatuan MPS to uplift remote communities by addressing both immediate needs and long-term development.
