To conduct research, information and education about poverty in general and its specific forms and causes; to find ways how to face and alleviate physical, political, social, cultural, ecological and economic poverty. To renounce any form of degrading poverty that causes injustice and death-dealing situation; to look for ways how to overcome poverty properly and humanely. To create sustainable eco
nomic and financial development among Magallanes workers. To enhance and develop our God's-given talents and natural resources. To help the local and OFW to deepen their disposition on poverty as integral part of human life and to uplift their standard of living in a holistic way. Section 6. To accept spiritual poverty at all areas of life. Section 7. To organize people from the OFW sector of Magallanes as well as its local counterpart for the common good and the promotion of common interest in alleviating poverty for the Magallanes town. Section 8. To maintain close cooperation among the members and import to them the importance of an association to represent them in any endeavor, social, political, space exploration, deep sea oil exploration and financial aspect. Section 9. To serve the interest of the members based upon justice and democratic ideals as well as serving the interest of Magallanes through the benevolent cause and poverty alleviation. Section 10. To engage in any lawful activity this may generate funds for the association. The proceeds of which shall be used solely for the association purposes. We will defy poverty. Section 11.
