From darkness into light. Today, we gathered for the Blessing of the Fire and the Renewal of our Baptismal Promises. As we celebrate Sabado de Gloria, may the light of Christ dispel the darkness of our hearts and minds. We stand renewed in faith and ready to welcome the Risen Christ!

The Union Youth Apostolate recently joined Unplugged: A Night with God, hosted by the Parish Youth Apostolate of Madrid at San Isidro Labrador Parish - Madrid. In the intentional silence, soulful music, and moments of deep recollection, we found a sacred space to disconnect from the noise of the world and reconnect with the One who matters most.

​This beautiful night of worship was the perfect way to prepare our hearts and minds for the solemnity of Holy Week. By "unplugging" and entering into a spirit of reflection, we’ve made room for grace—ensuring we are spiritually ready to walk the path of the Cross and celebrate the Resurrection.

Today, we joyfully celebrated Bible Month 2026 in our parish, led by the Parish Youth Apostolate of Madrid. The Union Youth Apostolate actively took part in the celebration, joining various contests and proudly winning Champion in the Logo Making Contest and 2nd Place in the Bible Quiz Bee, as well as participating in Saintify: Dress Like a Saint.

We are deeply thankful for the unwavering support of the parents of the youth, Union WESTYFLA, and all those who supported and granted permission for the youth to take part in this meaningful event. To God be all the glory!

After all the sweat and hard work for the Pasidungog Festival — from the long preparations to dancing our hearts out for the contest — nothing beats the joy of bonding and fellowship. The best prize we gained wasn’t a trophy, but the laughter, unity, and memories we shared as the Union Youth Apostolate of San Ignacio de Loyola Chapel, Union, Madrid, Surigao del Sur. Truly, these moments are what we’ll treasure forever.
