Representing Dipintin High School with pride and dedication, our very own Student Leader, SSLG Grade 9 Representative Harvey Keith Gomez, actively participated in the Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP) Planning Workshop and Local Monitoring Activity held on October 15-16, 2025, at the Quirino Water Sports Complex in Cabarroguis.

This significant event was organized by the Provincial Youth Development Council (PYDC) in partnership with the National Youth Commission (NYC) Pampanga Area Office, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen youth development initiatives throughout the Province of Quirino.

The two-day workshop focused on empowering Local Youth Development Councils (LYDCs), Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials, and Local Youth Development Officers (LYDOs) by equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to formulate effective Local Youth Development Plans (LYDPs), Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plans (CBYDPs), and other essential youth-focused policies.

Beyond planning, the event provided a crucial forum for the dissemination of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) requirements, addressing challenges faced by youth-serving bodies, and validating the innovative Functionality Assessment Tool designed to enhance the efficiency and impact of LYDCs and LYDOs.

Harvey’s participation underscores the strong commitment of Dipintin High School in nurturing responsible and proactive youth leaders who are deeply invested in the welfare and progress of their peers and communities.

By engaging in such meaningful workshops, our student leaders gain invaluable experience in leadership, planning, and community service—essential skills for shaping a brighter future for the youth sector in Quirino and beyond.We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Harvey Keith Gomez for representing us with enthusiasm and integrity.
