𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐋𝐘 | Two representatives from United Generation Aiming for Transformation (UGAT) joined the recently concluded meeting of 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 (𝐌𝐂𝐏𝐂) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 (𝐋𝐂𝐀𝐓-𝐕𝐀𝐖𝐂) on June 3, 2026, at Madalag Municipal Conference Hall.

The attendees were 𝓜𝓼. 𝓕𝓪𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝓓𝓪𝓻𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓮 𝓡𝓮𝓲𝓰𝓷 𝓡. 𝓝𝓪𝓻𝓸𝓼𝓪 and 𝓜𝓻. 𝓝𝓲𝓷̃𝓸 𝓝. 𝓓𝓮𝓵𝓪 𝓟𝓪𝔃.

The meeting focused on the welfare of community members and discussed the proposed budget for upcoming activities and projects aimed at serving the people of Madalag. UGAT remains committed to collaborating with local councils to advance programs that uplift and protect vulnerable sectors.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Two dedicated 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐠 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 served as facilitators during the 𝐇𝐘𝐎 (Healthy Young Ones) session of 𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐖 (Banga Peer Educators) at Daguitan, Banga, Aklan, on May 28, 2026.

The facilitators were 𝓚𝓻𝓲𝓼𝓱𝓷𝓪𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓮 𝓑. 𝓝𝓪𝓿𝓲𝓭𝓪 and 𝓒𝔂𝓻𝓪 𝓙𝓪𝓷𝓮 𝓡. 𝓝𝓪𝓵𝓭𝓸𝔃𝓪. The session focused on youth health, spreading awareness and providing information on reproductive health. It aimed to equip young people with the knowledge and confidence to make informed, responsible choices for their well-being.

We commend our 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐠 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 for their dedication and commitment to advancing youth health education in the community.

Madalag Primary Care Facility, through the active efforts of the Madalag Peer Educators, successfully conducted the Healthy Young Ones Classes in different barangays of Madalag as part of the implementation of Project AYUS, Abort Mission Teen Preg and Happy Hearts.

The activity aimed to provide young people with valuable knowledge and awareness on adolescent health and development, responsible decision-making, self-awareness, and the importance of positive peer relationships.

Through interactive discussions and meaningful participation, the adolescents were encouraged to become empowered and responsible members of the community.

UGAT extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Madalag Primary Care Facility headed by Dr. Josephine P. Ricamonte, Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Council for their support and collaboration in making the activity possible.

Special appreciation is also extended to the barangay nurse, midwife and barangay health workers for their invaluable support in gathering participants, ensuring attendance, and sharing their knowledge and guidance throughout the session.

Most importantly, we commend all the adolescent participants for their active participation, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn. Your involvement is a vital step towards building a healthier and more informed generation.
