In celebration of International Youth Day 2026, with the theme “𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐬, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬,” the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) – Sto. Rosario Chapter proudly participated in the 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 (𝐒𝐎𝐘𝐀) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, held at the SMX Convention Center, Clark.

The event brought together young leaders, youth organizations, and advocates from across Mabalacat City to celebrate the achievements, efforts, and contributions of the youth in our community. 💙

Together with fellow PYAP Barangay Presidents, the PYAP Sto. Rosario Chapter proudly attended the 2026 State of the City Address (SOCA) held on July 30, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center, Clark.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of this meaningful gathering and to hear the City's accomplishments, future plans, and commitment to serving every Mabalacqueño. The presentation of the 10 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) indicators further inspired us to continue serving our communities with dedication and purpose.

Congratulations to our 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐝 𝐆𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐏. 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨, 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, and the entire Mabalacat City Government on the successful 2026 State of the City Address (SOCA).

𝐏𝐘𝐀𝐏 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 2-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

Representing PYAP Santo Rosario, the President participated in the 2-Day Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) Capability Development Training under the theme:

"𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧: 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠."

The training took place on July 22–23, 2026, at Best Western Plus Metro Clark, Balibago, Angeles City, Pampanga, and was organized by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) of Mabalacat City. The two-day program was designed to strengthen the leadership skills, communication abilities, and sense of civic responsibility of PYAP Presidents, preparing them to become more effective leaders in their communities.

Throughout the training, participants took part in five interactive learning modules facilitated by Mr. Mar Miguel P. Velasco. These included 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 1: 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧, 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 2: 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞, 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 3: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 4: 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 5: 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 (𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐒). Each session encouraged participants to reflect on their leadership potential while providing practical tools for effective communication, responsible citizenship, community involvement, and creating initiatives that can make a lasting impact.
