ATI-RTC 8 is now accepting applications for the Youth Internship Program on Organic Agriculture (YIPOA) Batch 2026–2027!

Are you a young individual passionate about farming and sustainability? If you're 18–35 years old and a resident of Eastern Visayas, this opportunity is for you!

The Youth Internship Program on Organic Agriculture (YIPOA) is designed to deepen the youth's appreciation for organic agriculture and inspire them to embrace it as a viable and sustainable livelihood.

Application Requirements:
Interested applicants must submit the following:

a) Letter of Intent addressed to:

𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗙𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗞𝗦 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

Congratulations to our Libhuanon Talented Youths for their outstanding participation in the Provincial Rural-Based Organizations (RBOs) Night Contest held on June 29, 2024.

Represented by our enthusiastic participants and active Libhu 4H Club members, the group achieved the following awards:

🥇 First Place – Native Dance (Curacha Remix)
🥉 Third Place – Balitaw (Gender-Based)

We also acknowledge Rhys Asher Saavedra for leading the Doxology Prayer, which sets the night in the spirit of gratitude and unity.

Our deepest gratitude goes to our City Mayor and the Office of the City Agriculturist for their support of the agricultural sector and the youth of our beloved Maasin City.

ICYMI. 4-H Club Libhu participated the Women's Farmers' and Fisherfolks Forum 2025 last May 30, 2025 at Old DPWH Function Hall, Capitol Site, Brgy. Asuncion, Maasin City.

It was attended by Princess Dianne Paloma and Shanon Neri, 4-H Club Libhu Member and Hon. Nelia A. Paloma, Brgy. Kagawad.

The purpose of this forum was to empower women farmers and fisherfolk through knowledge-sharing, livelihood discussions, and policy updates. It served as a platform to strengthen community participation, raise awareness on sustainable practices, and promote inclusive development.

We are honored to be part of initiatives that support progress and unity in our local sectors. 💚

𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗚𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 🌾🐟

The 4-H Club Libhu actively participated the recently concluded Farmers' and Fisherfolks Month 2025 Culmination Program held in Hinunangan, Southern Leyte, under the theme "Makabagong Magsasaka at Mangingisda: Susi sa Masaganang Bagong Pilipinas." This event underscored the pivotal role of modern farmers and fisherfolks in the country.

Representing the youth's commitment to agriculture, members Princess Caryle Igot, Saide Bonaoy, Jharwin Zion Lagahit, and 4-H Maasin City Coordinator Mary Grace G. Usi actively engaged in discussions and activities that highlighted sustainable practices and innovation in these sectors.

Their participation reflects the growing involvement of the youth in shaping the future of agriculture and fisheries in the community. The event also showcased the collaborative efforts of local government units, educational sectors, and community organizations in promoting modernization and sustainability.

We commend the 4-H Club Libhu for their dedication and active involvement in this activity. Their enthusiasm and commitment to the cause are truly inspiring. Padayon, 4-H Club Libhu! 🍀

World 4-H Day Promotion Week!🍀🌍

On November 1st, we join the global community in celebrating “World 4-H Day!”. This day honors the unity of 75 countries, including the Philippines, as we work together through the 4-H movement to empower youth and young farmers worldwide. Established to commemorate the first-ever Global 4-H Network World Conference in 2014, World 4-H Day represents the strength of our shared commitment to leadership and sustainable development. As part of the Global 4-H Network, the Federation of 4-H Club (Rural Youth) of the Philippines, Inc. stands proudly alongside nations like Korea in cultivating the next generation of leaders.

LOOK | 4-H CLUB Libhu actively attended the Workshop on Digital Marketing for Young Farmers last October 8-9, 2024 at Kuting Reef Resort, Macrohon, Southern Leyte. This training was organized by the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 8 - Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (DARFO- 8 AMAD).

It was attend by Mr. Jimel G. Garcia - 4H Club Libhu President, Ms. Marjorie T. Carolino - 4H Club Libhu Secretary and Ma'am Grace Gaviola Usi - 4H Club Maasin City Coordinator.

This training will help our future Young Farmers and advocate in the Region with practical knowledge and strategies in Digital Marketing in expanding their businesses in the future.
