The Sampagayta+ Association proudly participated in the Declogging Activity held on July 25, 2026, in observance of National Disaster Resilience Month.

Organized by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) under the leadership of Mayor Sheffered Lino S. Tan of LGU Sogod, the activity highlighted the importance of collective action in keeping our waterways clean, reducing flood risks, and protecting our environment.

As one community, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that promote disaster preparedness, environmental stewardship, and volunteerism in line with this year's theme:

“Naghahanda at Kumikilos Tungo sa Panatag na Bagong Pilipinas.”

🌱🌈 SAMPAGAYTA+ ASSOCIATION JOINS TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY IN CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL DISASTER RESILIENCE MONTH 2026 🌈🌱

The Sampagayta+ Association of Sogod, Southern Leyte proudly joined the Tree Planting Activity held on July 18, 2026, at 6:00 AM at the Old Dumpsite, Barangay San Miguel, in support of the observance of National Disaster Resilience Month.

With this year's theme, "Naghahanda at Kumikilos Tungo sa Panatag na Bagong Pilipinas," we reaffirm our commitment to environmental protection, climate action, and community resilience. Every tree planted today is a meaningful investment in a greener, healthier, and safer tomorrow for future generations.

This activity reminds us that disaster resilience begins with collective responsibility. By caring for our environment, we strengthen our communities and contribute to building a more sustainable and disaster-ready Philippines.

The Sampagayta+ Association extends its sincere appreciation to the organizing offices of LGU Sogod: MENRO headed by sir Engr Federico Ozon and MDRRMO headed by sir Robe Estillore with the full support of Municipal Mayor Sheffered Lino S. Tan, Vice Mayor Atty. Jose Ramil G. Golo and SB Members and all participating organizations, volunteers, and stakeholders who made this meaningful activity a success.
