Our La Union—made by the people, for the people, and strengthened by every voice within it.

Join us for a night of music and purpose at Lakbai Musika, partnering with us, the NSTP Lorma CCSE Batch of 2026, to create an event you will never forget.

While tourist destinations in San Juan, La Union are often the center of attention, this event aims to go beyond the usual spotlight. It seeks to highlight not only the beauty of our province’s attractions, but more importantly, the true heart of La Union—its people.

A friend of mine once asked, “How come it’s always about ‘ELYU’ now and never about La Union? ”

La Union offers more than the typical tropical tourist sites, but I’m sure that those who’ve truly come to love it know that. Why don't you spend the night partying at Lakbai Musika, which is partnering with the NSTP Lorma CCSE Batch of 2026 to make an event you will never forget.

While tourist sites in San Juan, La Union are all the rage—this specific event won’t only highlight the beauty of our Province’s tourist attractions, but it will also give the limelight to the true “La Union” which is the people. Celebrating the beauty of art, we made a Concert for a Cause movement in line with our NSTP Project at Lorma, hoping to raise money for a tea product initiative which will be implemented in Barangay Tallaoen, Luna, La Union; we made this concert fundraiser.

Making a point that La Union is not only represented by places like the venue which has bustling crowds, and countless tourist attractions, but it is made up of 19 municipalities as well as the hardworking, vibrant, and joyful people who populate it. We hope we can give you a taste of our La Union on this momentous night! Hope to see you there!

Making ample strides towards our set budget for Project Salun-at. The Finance Committee executives held the final scheduled ticket payment collection for assigned student ticket selling on March 16, 2026, on the 2nd floor of the Lorma CLI Building.

As Louie Jaydenn Villuan spearheaded this day's executive meeting to finalize all the gathered ideas throughout the past online meetings, the Finance Committee executives namely Geoff Benedict Cariño, and Stephanie de Leon in turn started the collecting operations from the ticket distribution, as well as making a count of the total money raised thus far.

"We are pleased to inform everyone that we are ecstatic about the results thus far, and we hope that this momentum continues throughout the fundraiser and as we implement project Salun-at," as noted by an NSTP CCSE Executive Board member.

Time is ticking: 14 more days before SALUN-ART: Musika para sa salun-at concert!!⏳

Come and join us at the Lorma Colleges NSTP Booth stand. Last saturday as the hard working students of the NSTP CCSE class sold tickets as they prepared for the big event this March 20th at Lakbai Musika – San Juan, La Union 4:30 - 8:30 PM.

During the National Service Training Program (NSTP) of LORMA Colleges successfully conducted the READY 360: Comprehensive DRRM Skills Training for NSTP Students (Batch 1) last February 28, 2026, in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection – BFP San Juan Fire Station, the NSTP CCSE class sold their first batch of Concert Tickets for their fundraising initiative for Project Salun-at.

The NSTP seminar paved the way for the first exposure of the Concert for a Cause fundraiser. Jan Liam Arias one of the Salun-at Project Executive board spearheaded the ticket selling operation, with the help of notable students such as Stephanie Mhay De Leon, Jhelianne Figuerres, Wendy Bustamante, and Red Cyrus the Ticket Selling operation went smoothly from the finance, till the promotion.

Furthermore Jade Rolland Pinon raised community awareness by eagerly participating during the NSTP seminar; stating his take aways along the lines "The seminar will prove to be significant, specially during these times where Fire related incidents seem to occur." as documented by Jhared Andrei

Project Salun-at's 2nd round of Pilot testing to produce a Tea Product Initiative for Community Health and Economic Support in Tallaoen, Luna, La Union.

The pilot testing on February 12, 2026 brought about great insights on to the production process of moringa tea. Using the blanching method proposed by Geoff Benedict Cariño the operations of producing the tea elevated on to a new level. Ensuring that these moringa leaves have an improved quality for consumption and drying by reducing bitter saponins, inactivating enzymes that cause spoilage, and enhancing color.

Caution: The process is subject to change, and any future production will be done with sanitary tools, this pilot testing is done to be familiarized with the Production process, for health reasons none of the produce has been consumed.
