The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) hosted the weekly Flag Raising Ceremonies every Monday and the Flag Retreat every Friday throughout the month of June 2026, promoting patriotism and inspiring their fellow students to embody the Makabansa core value of the Department of Education.

On June 29, 2026, the Flag-Raising Ceremony officially commenced. Police Officers of the Philippine National Police raised the Philippine flag, while Yohannah Rein Aguirre, Grade 8 Representative, led the singing of the Lupang Hinirang. This was followed by the opening prayer led by Genna Jhen De Los Reyes, Grade 7 Representative. The Pananumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas was led by Precious Khaye Enosa, Grade 10 Representative, while Faith Gomez, Grade 11 Representative, led the Panatang Makabayan. Ma'am Rodessa Aira Piรฑera led the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan. The ceremony continued with the singing of the CALABARZON March, the SDO Lucena Hymn, and the LDNHS Hymn. Emerald Magnaye, SSLG President, served as the Master of Ceremonies, ensuring the smooth and orderly flow of the program. Shelly Anne Obciana handled the sound system, while Clodee Chyl Macinas documented the event through photographs. The rest of the SSLG officers ensured that the students were properly lined up throughout the ceremony. The SSLG continues to live by its motto, "We Lead, We Serve."

In addition, during the Flag-Raising Ceremony, Lucena Dalahican National High School, headed by Ma'am Xandra Leah S. Dames, Principal II, warmly welcomed Police Lieutenant Colonel Ryan M. Hernandez, Chief of Police of the Lucena City Police Station, as the school's distinguished guest, together with his fellow police officers. The Philippine National Police ensure the safety and welfare of the students. PLTCOL Ryan M. Hernandez reminded students that their role is not only to enforce the law but also to serve and protect students by fostering a safe learning environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive.

The participants and winners of the Poster Making Contest for the โ€œNational No Smoking Month 2026,โ€ with the theme โ€œKabataan Laban sa Bisyo: Huwag Magpaloko sa V**e at Sigarilyo,โ€ held on June 27, 2026, at Lucena Dalahican National High School, were recognized for their efforts, time, and talent. The event was organized by the Provincial Government of Quezon through the Provincial Health Office (PHO).

The flag-raising raising ceremony concluded successfully. Grade 9, 10 ang Senior High School Students proceeded to their respective classroom. Teaching and Non- Teaching Personnel resumes their duties. All who attended meaningfully started their week with a renewed sense of nationalism.

Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Hosted the First Flag-Raising Ceremony for School Year 2026-2027

The commencement of a new school year was filled with excitement, happiness, and curiosity, especially among the incoming Grade 7 students and transferees. The SSLG was tasked with hosting the first flag-raising ceremony of the school year and all ceremonies throughout the month of June. This high-stakes event set the tone for the entire school year in front of the students, teachers, non-teaching personnel and parents.

The program officially commenced with the singing of the National Anthem, led by Xian Robert Mariano, Protocol Officer. As the school community proudly sang Lupang Hinirang, Roxanne Obciana, Public Information Officer, and Joland Ablay, Grade 10 Representative, raised the Philippine flag. The opening prayer was then led by Shelly Anne Obciana, SSLG Vice President, followed by the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas led by Jamilla Gail Gabriel, Grade 9 Representative. James Patrick Magadia subsequently led the Panatang Makabayan. The ceremony continued with the singing of the CALABARZON March, the SDO Lucena Hymn, and the LDNHS Hymn. To promote energy and enthusiasm among the participants, the SSLG Officers facilitated the Galaw Pilipinas exercise. This was followed by the welcome remarks delivered by Maโ€™am Xandra Leah S. Dames, Principal II, who warmly welcomed the students, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and parents as they embarked on another academic year. A special tribute organized by the Faculty Club was also given to the teaching and non-teaching personnel who celebrated their birthdays from April to June. The program was further brightened by captivating performances from the Sinlayag Dance Troupe, under the coaching and guidance of Sir Christopher Alex Abella and Maโ€™am Caryl Jean Paleracio, and the LDNHS Harmonic Drum & Lyre Band, under the baton of Sir Joveth Racsag. Their performances added vibrancy and excitement to the occasion, creating a festive atmosphere for everyone in attendance.

Throughout the ceremony, Emerald Magnaye, SSLG President, efficiently served as the program host and ensured the smooth flow of activities. The sound system operations were managed by Freddie Balansag, Grade 12 Representative with the assistance of Kuya Virgilio Banderada, while Clodee Chyl Macinas, Treasurer, documented the event through photography. Overall, the SSLG Officers carried out their assigned tasks under the guidance and supervision of Maโ€™am Rodessa Aira Pinฬƒera, whose support contributed significantly to the successful conduct of the program.
