Kiwanis Club of Lucena City moved mountain as it travelled to the foot of Mt. Banahaw, Kinabuhayan Elementary School, Dolores Quezon, March 27, for the BUGs and Terrific Kids Recognition.

KCLC recognized the 50 pupils of KES who successfully participated in this SLP Initiatives. After a yearlong monitoring of the school's Reading program and tracking their deportment in school, the kids were given gifts which they can enjoy this summer.

All participants received BUGs and Terrific Kids Medals and certificates art materials, toys, simple souvenir and snacks. Too, parents and teachers received prizes for winning in the games.

Mr. Ramonito O. Elumbaring, KES School Head, thanked KCLC for the celebration of pupils' academic progress. Also, he extended his appreciation to Division 4C Lieurenant Governor Maricel 'Athel' Martin for the School Zone Kiwanis Marker thru KCLC.

BUILDERS CLUB PROJECT WARMS THE KIWANIS HOME

Last February 21, 2026 the Builders Club of Quezon National High School launched their Project WARM (We Assist, Restore and Maintain) as part of their Club's AIP for the school year of 2025-2026.

The Builders Club officers and members together with their faculty adviser Ms. Eloisa Joy F. Ramento, made their general cleaning at the Kiwanis Home located at Brgy. Isabang, Lucena City.

After they cleared the yards and the areas of the Home, they shared snacks as their reward for their hardwork.

This activity has the permission of the Quezon National High School School Head, Mr. Joseph C. Hinanay and the KC Lucena City President, Maria Eden L. Villadiego.

KCLC LAYS ON PLANS FOR MARCH

Friday is a family day for KCLC. President Maria Eden Villadiego facilitated her 9th regular meeting and discussed the upcoming plans and events for March.

Moreover, she relayed the Division 4C's three in one activities which will happen on March 14, 2026.

The club is excited on the unveiling of division marker, Division Conference, and the Governor's Visit. She mentioned the club's assignment on those occasions.

ZES K-KIDS HAVE ZEST FOR SERVICE

Division 4C SLP Coordinator and President of Kiwanis Club of Lucena City, Maria Eden Villadiego had her Service Leadership Program (SLP) orientation for K-Kids.

These young learners who aspire to be part of the Zaballero Elementary School K-kids, listened to the lecture made by President Eden herself. Together with the aspiring K-kids who are pushing through their chartering are the parents and teachers from the same school.

This SLP program is being sponsored by Kiwanis Club of Lucena Famous. Present from the mentioned club are President Arlizza Bajar and Kwn. Jesusa "Jessy" Bahian.

The aspiring K-kids showed their enthusiasm and great interest in joining the K-kids. Moreover, President Eden extended her gratitude to the pupils, parents, teachers, school head, and to the Kiwanis Club of Lucena Famous for inviting her as a lecturer.

Moreover, she shared the processes of chartering paper work, the roles and duties of the sponsoring club, Kiwanis advisor, faculty adviser, and the K-kids officers and members.

The permission to conduct this activity was granted by Lieutenant Governor of Division 4C Maricel "Athel" Martin.

A Night of Royalties, display of grandeur, service and friendship!

Kiwanis Club of Lucena City was conferred an Early Bird Award during the Kiwanis Night, Royce Hotel and Casino Pampangga, January 24..

Along with other clubs in the District which also received recognition, KCLC proved its commitment to the organization by fulfilling its dues commitment to Kiwanis International and Philippine Luzon District, promptly.

The club was represented by PLG Ma. Janet Buelo, PP Vanessa Ellaga, PSec Art Angelo Enelo, who also received the badge of Gold Award.

The night was filled with renewed friendship and more hope of volunteerism among the Kiwanians.

Congratulations to all the people behind the grand event, as well as to the awardees!

Champions keep playing until they get it right!

Kiwanis Club of Lucena City played well in the Division 4C's Sportsfest, January 21, Iñigo's Sports Complex.

It was a fun filled gathering of Kiwanians as everyone was excited to play in different sports representing their cluster. The Kiwanians played volleyball, bowling, billiards, and pickleball.

Lieutenant Govenor Maricel Athel Martin Dela Cruz, thanked all the participants who came and joined the Division's adrenaline-pumping event.

In the end PDT Marilyn 'MJ' Jugueta of KCLC, was hailed champion in biliiards. Plg Ma. Janet Buelo and PSec Jhody Mendaña, and bowling Blue Team were also hailed as Champion.

KCLC Bounces off the wall!

Kiwanis Club of Lucena City joined in the kickstart activity of Kiwanis International 111th founding anniversary, January 17.

Division 4C Kiwanis Week 2026 celebration kick-off activity, started with the Mass at Holy Rosary Chapel followed by the flower offering to Dr. Jose Rizal's effigy.

Lieutenant Governor Maricel 'Athel' Martin along with other Past Lieutenant Governors spearheaded the honoring of the National Hero., where all participating Clubs, received certificate of appreciation.

The weeklong celebration is jampacked with a good line up of activities which culminates on Jan 24, with the Kiwanis Night.

Salute to 111 years of undeniable community involvement, Kiwanis!
