In celebration of Earth Day last April 29, 2026, and in alignment with this year’s global theme, “Get Together, Stay Together,” a meaningful and collaborative coastal clean-up activity was successfully conducted at Sariaya.

This environmental initiative was spearheaded by the Kiwanis Club of Lucena Infinity, in partnership with the Key Club of Mayao Parada Agricultural Integrated High School, the Kiwanis Club of Lucena Kalilayan, the Kiwanis Club of Lucena Gat-Uban, the Kiwanis Club of Quezon Finest, and the Kiwanis Club of Kalilayan Angels, together with the steadfast support of the Provincial Government of Quezon.

The activity gathered volunteers from various sectors who united in a shared commitment to environmental stewardship and community service. Participants worked collectively in removing solid waste and debris along the coastal area, contributing to the preservation of marine ecosystems and the promotion of cleaner and healthier shorelines.

Beyond the physical clean-up, the initiative also served as a powerful reminder of the importance of sustained cooperation and unity in addressing environmental challenges. It highlighted how collective action—when communities, youth organizations, and local government units come together—can generate meaningful and lasting impact for future generations.

Anchored on the spirit of “Get Together, Stay Together,” this endeavor reaffirmed the value of solidarity, responsibility, and continued partnership in safeguarding our natural environment.

The Kiwanis Club of Lucena Infinity successfully conducted its Regular Club Meeting last April 8, 2026, at the welcoming residence of LG Maricel Martin. Guided by the Kiwanis theme, “Get Together, Stay Together,” the meeting highlighted not only the club’s dedication to service but also the spirit of unity, fellowship, and teamwork among its members.

During the meeting, officers and members discussed and finalized the club’s upcoming projects and community service initiatives for the months of April and May. Among the major activities presented were the Coastal Clean-Up Drive, Brigada Eskwela, the 100-Day Feeding Program, and many other meaningful outreach programs that aim to uplift lives and strengthen community involvement. These initiatives reflect the club’s unwavering commitment to serving children and communities through collective effort and compassionate leadership.

The gathering became even more meaningful as members shared fellowship and strengthened camaraderie after the formal meeting proper. In the spirit of gratitude and celebration, the club also held an advance birthday celebration in honor of the Immediate Past President and Deputy LG, Rupert Martin, recognizing his valuable contributions, inspiring leadership, and continued support to the organization.

Indeed, the evening was a perfect reflection of the Kiwanis spirit — where members come together in service, remain united in purpose, and continue building lasting friendships while making a positive difference in the community.
