On April 25, 2026, the Kiwanis Club of Lucena Aces successfully conducted a Feeding Program and Free Haircut activity at Purok San Francisco, Brgy. Ibabang Dupay, Lucena City. 🥗✂️

This initiative served children, youth, and families in the community — providing nutritious meals and free haircut services to help meet their basic needs, promote good hygiene, and bring smiles to every beneficiary.

We are grateful to everyone who helped make this activity possible! This is our way of serving and uplifting our community, true to the Kiwanis spirit of caring and service. 💛

Fundraising Project: "100 Pesos Mo, Gawin Nating 100K Pesos Ngayong Pasko!" by Kiwanis Club of Lucena Aces

The raffle draw for the "100 Pesos Mo, Gawin Nating 100K Pesos Ngayong Pasko!" fundraising project, organized by the Kiwanis Club of Lucena Aces led by Pres. Joefferey Barandino was successfully conducted on February 28, 2026, at the Calamigan Building.

All proceeds from this initiative will be dedicated to community projects and the club's adopted school programs.

On March 31, 2026, the Kiwanis Club Lucena Aces held the Bring Up Grades (BUGs) and Terrific Kids awarding ceremony in conjunction with the Recognition Day at San Lorenzo Elementary School. The event took place at the Pacific Mall Event Center.
A total of 32 students were honored for their academic achievements and commitment to character-building initiatives.

During the ceremony, awardees received medals, certificates, and food as tokens of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.

The Kiwanis Club Lucena Aces continues to support programs that promote academic excellence and foster strong character development among young learners.

The distribution was facilitated through the Barangay Health Center and the Barangay Sangguniang. Kiwanis Club of Lucena Aces Conducts Bone Testing and Hematocrit Anemia Testing

On February 28, 2026, the Kiwanis Club of Lucena Aces, under the leadership of President Joefferrey Barandino, successfully conducted a community health project featuring Bone Testing and Hematocrit Anemia Testing. This initiative was carried out in partnership with UNILAB, the Sangguniang Barangay of Brgy. Ibabang Dupay, Lucena City, and various Rotaract Clubs.

The event took place at the Brgy. Ibabang Dupay Covered Court, Lucena City, with the active participation of Brgy Chairman Benito C. Amazona and Barangay Kagawad Kwn. Arnel Abejo. The testing aimed to provide essential health screening services to residents, with a special focus on the elderly population.

Hematocrit testing measures the volume of red blood cells in the blood, which is critical for diagnosing anemia or polycythemia. Bone testing, including bone marrow aspiration or biopsy, is a more specialized procedure used to assess the bone marrow's ability to produce blood cells properly. Together, these tests offer comprehensive insights into blood disorders and overall hematologic health.

This project was well-received by the community and is expected to contribute significantly to early detection and management of blood-related health issues, particularly among senior citizens.

The Kiwanis Club of Lucena Aces remains committed to promoting community health and wellness through continued partnerships and outreach programs.
