We, the ambassadors from Grade 10, are thrilled to announce that we raised ₱9,360 for our PDLs (Persons Deprived of Liberty)! Special thanks to everyone who supported us by purchasing the beautiful handmade products crafted by the PDLs of Lucena City. Your contribution is helping make a real difference. 💛

We’re on a mission to give second chances and ignite hope — one meaningful act at a time! 💛✨

During the SDG Action Summit at SM City Lucena, our campaign proudly stood for compassion and inclusivity, supporting the female Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) from BJMP Lucena.

We sold beautifully handcrafted bayongs, keychains, and wallets made by the female PDLs themselves, with all proceeds going directly to them — helping sustain their livelihood and empower their journey toward a brighter future. 🛍️🤝

Our booth also featured a heartfelt Freedom Wall, where visitors shared inspiring messages of hope and encouragement for the PDLs — proving that kindness and empathy can truly make a difference. 💬🌷

Thank you to everyone who supported our cause and stood with us in believing that everyone deserves a Second Chance. 💫💛

Pagkilala sa kakayahan ng bawat tao na magbago at muling makapagsimula. Alamin ang kampanya ng ika-sampung baitang ng International School for Better Beginnings: Second Chance.

❓ Ano nga ba ang Second Chance?
❓ Anong mga Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ang konektado sa kampanyang ito?
❓ Ano ang layunin ng kampanya para sa mga Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs)?

Panoorin ang aming campaign video at suportahan ang adbokasiyang nagbibigay tinig at pag-asa sa mga PDLs, upang sila’y makapagsimula muli at maging inspirasyon sa mas ligtas at mas makatarungang lipunan.

What an inspiring afternoon it has been. Through Second Chances: Breaking the Stigma and Empowering Persons Deprived of Liberty, we shared stories, ideas, and hope for a more compassionate world. Your energy and open hearts made the event truly special.

A huge thank you to Attorney Lorenzo Miranda for lending us your time and voice—you’ve sparked a deeper understanding in all of us. We’re also grateful to the Business Club, Grade 11, and Grade 12 students who joined in and helped turn this into a meaningful conversation.

Here’s to everyone who worked hard to make this happen—especially our batch officers—for proving that change begins with empathy and action. 💙

Alongside inspiring and thought-provoking insights, our distinguished guest speaker, Attorney Lorenzo Gabriel Miranda, will share his expertise and experiences in prison reformation and advocacy work.

In celebration of National Women’s Month and World Happiness Month, the Grade 10 batch officers and students held a heartfelt outreach at BJMP Lucena’s Male and Female Dormitories last April 22.

The students of ISBB donated female hygiene kits and yellow shirts, spreading happiness, hope, and care to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs). The event was made even more special with singing performances by selected Grade 10 students and PDLs, filling the atmosphere with music and inspiration. 🎶

This initiative captured the true essence of the celebrations—honoring women’s strength, promoting well-being, championing equality, and advocating for peace and inclusivity.

Our deepest gratitude to BJMP Lucena for the opportunity to connect, uplift, and share moments of hope and joy, and to the ISBB students for their generous donations and heartfelt participation. 💛

In celebration of National Women’s Month, the Grade 10 batch officers and students of ISBB gathered at BJMP Lucena’s Female Dormitory for a Community Meet-Up–an event dedicated to empowering and uplifting the women PDLs through meaningful conversations and learning.

A wellness talk led by Sir Quin Fernando and by the Grade 10 students focused on building relationships, job opportunities, life skills, mental, and emotional well-being. Their insights reminded the women that they are resilient, capable, and deserving of second chances.

This initiative aligns with the spirit of Women’s Month—recognizing the strength of women and advocating for their growth and empowerment. Our deepest gratitude to Sir Quin Fernando for his inspiring talk and to BJMP Lucena for allowing us to connect and share this moment of learning and encouragement.

May this event serve as a reminder that every woman, regardless of circumstance, has the power to rise, rebuild, and thrive.
