𝘽𝙅𝙈𝙋 𝙇𝙐𝘾𝙀𝙉𝘼 𝙁𝙀𝙈𝘼𝙇𝙀 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙈𝘼𝙇𝙀 𝘿𝙊𝙍𝙈𝙄𝙏𝙊𝙍𝙔 𝘿𝙀𝙉𝙏𝘼𝙇 𝙈𝙄𝙎𝙎𝙄𝙊𝙉 🦷❤️

Sometimes, a second chance begins with something as simple as a smile.

On September 30, 2026, the Grade 10 students of the International School for Better Beginnings (ISBB), through the Second Chance Campaign, conducted a meaningful dental mission at the BJMP Lucena Female and Male Dormitories, reaching 60 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) through oral health education, care, and compassion.

The PDLs were given an informative oral care lecture by dedicated dentists from the Philippine Dental Association – Quezon Chapter, followed by the application of fluoride varnish. The activity also featured an inspiring talk by Ms. Chuchi Sia, who shared a message of hope, encouragement, and the importance of embracing opportunities for a better tomorrow.

We owe our deepest gratitude to our dedicated team of dentists from the Philippine Dental Association – Quezon Chapter: Dr. Monette Z. Valencia, Dr. Irma Cadiz, Dr. Cristina Joy Abelar, Dr. Marites M. Alegre, Dr. Earlene L. Cabana, Dr. Jaymie T. Que, Dr. Cindy O. Hermogenes, and Dr. Diane Pensader, for generously sharing their expertise and extending compassionate dental care to our PDLs.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to Vice Governor Anacleto “Third” Alcala for generously donating medicines to support the PDLs’ continued care and well-being.

We are equally grateful to the Grade 10 students and their parents whose generosity made it possible to provide Oral Hygiene Kits to the PDLs. Your kindness reminds us that even a simple act of giving can become a meaningful step toward hope and dignity.

Thank you, BJMP Lucena, for welcoming us and allowing us to continue this mission of service. Through the Second Chance Campaign, we hope to remind every individual that compassion knows no boundaries, and that everyone deserves the opportunity for care, dignity, and a second chance. ❤️

This mission reminds us that education is not only about what we learn inside the classroom. It is also about what we choose to do with what we have learned.

Because sometimes, making a difference does not require grand gestures.

Sometimes, it begins with a helping hand.
A lesson shared.
A smile restored.
A heart reminded that hope is still possible.

We are truly grateful and humbled to be recognized by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology – Regional Office Calabarzon as one of their Service Provider Awardees in celebration of the BJMP 35th Anniversary!

This recognition celebrates our commitment through ISBB Second Chance to:
• Supporting PDL Livelihood Programs by purchasing and promoting PDL-made products
• Promoting compassion and civic engagement through our annual Grade 10 student-led gift-giving activity for PDLs

💛✨ 𝘽𝙅𝙈𝙋 𝙇𝙐𝘾𝙀𝙉𝘼 𝙈𝘼𝙇𝙀 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙁𝙀𝙈𝘼𝙇𝙀 𝘿𝙊𝙍𝙈𝙄𝙏𝙊𝙍𝙔 𝙊𝙐𝙏𝙍𝙀𝘼𝘾𝙃

In line with the celebration of National Women’s Month and International Month of Happiness, the Grade 10 batch officers and students conducted a meaningful outreach activity at BJMP Lucena’s Male and Female Dormitories last March 19.

ISBB students shared male and female hygiene kits along with yellow shirts, bringing comfort, care, and a sense of joy to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs). The program was further enlivened by a lively dance activity led by the Grade 10 students, creating a fun and engaging atmosphere for everyone. 💃✨

More than just an outreach, this initiative reflected the spirit of the celebrations—recognizing women’s strength, promoting health and well-being, fostering equality, and encouraging inclusivity and peace.

We extend our sincere appreciation to BJMP Lucena for welcoming this initiative, and to the ISBB students for their generosity and active participation in making this activity truly meaningful. 💛

Happiness grows when it’s shared! In celebration of the International Day of Happiness 💛 and International Women’s Month 💜, the Grade 10 batch warmly invites you to help us make a meaningful impact in the lives of our local PDLs.

You can support this initiative by donating plain yellow shirts and feminine hygiene products (sanitary napkins, feminine wash, soap, alcohol, toothbrush, toothpaste, towel, etc.). Through your generosity, we affirm our belief in second chances, dignity, and hope.

Let’s come together to spread joy, compassion, and empowerment to those who need it most. ✨
