FUR-well to a PAW-some journey!! 💖🐾

From the spark 🌟 of L008's vision to our last walk together, Project CARE has reached a fur-tunate and meaningful end. A proud and paws-filled moment, looking back on the tail-blazing footprints we left behind ✨. While the path wasn't always a walk in the park—navigating cat-astrophes and ruff patches, seeing the impact on our furry friends made it all worth it. 🐱🐶

We unleashed our potential through seminars, and our educational posters are now up and feline good across campus to keep the awareness alive. 📣 From sharing claw-some knowledge, we successfully purr-chased and turned over travel crates, cages, and a net to the MSEUF Pet Society. 👏

The project may be over, but the seeds of compassion we’ve planted are fur-ever, and we know the paws-itive change will continue to grow! 💕

A PAW-amazing 🐾 day, yesterday! Caged with love, surrounded by care as Project CARE donated to MSEUF Petsoc!🐶🐱💖

NSTP L008 project leaders and officers-in-charge took the initiative to hand over the two (2) travel crates, one (1) cage, and one (1) net to the MSEUF Protect Every Tail Society (Petsoc), yesterday, April 30.

The entire cluster of L008 poured their love and support towards our university cats and dogs, a comPAWsionate spirit ✨we would love for other envergan students to be inspired in doing as well! 📣❣️

Remember, small actions bring big changes! 🤍

Last April 25, 2026, Cluster L008 placed posters 📍📰 around campus as part of our Paw Care project for animal care awareness. Small posters, big reminders! 🐕📣

We encourage everyone to engage with the message and support responsible and compassionate treatment of animals. 🐶🐱

Look! 👀Cluster L008 Evaluation Day! ✨
NSTP project, Project CARE: Campus Animal Respect and Education 🐾📚

On April 25, 2026, Cluster L008 was represented by our Project Leader Wella Marie Balmes, Assistant Project Leader Ma. Cassandra Nicole Zorilla, and President Yuan Miguel Ramos, delivered the presentation with confidence and commitment.

This is not only the achievement of the presenters, but also the achievement of the whole Cluster L008, who worked hard behind the scenes.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗚𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗧

As animal advocates, one of the most difficult realities we face is knowing that we cannot adopt every cat and dog living on the streets. That is why we continue to do everything we can to help as many as possible 🐾

One of the most effective programs we support is the Catch-Neuter-Vaccinate-Release (CNVR) method, which helps protect community animals and manage their population humanely 💛

It is deeply heartbreaking and infuriating to witness the video showing one of the community cats under the protection and care of Cats of McKinley becoming the victim of a person who showed no respect for the life of an innocent animal like Ghost 💔

Let it be made clear! this was not the husky’s fault. The real accountability lies with the human who encouraged and taught such aggression toward a helpless cat. Animals act according to how they are raised and handled - it is people who must answer for cruelty and negligence 🤬

Don’t blame the strays. Blame the neglect that put them there.

Not all were once pets, but every stray is the result of human inaction. Many are unspayed animals, lack care, and victims of a system that fails them.

YOU can be part of the solution: Support spay and neuter, choose to adopt instead of shop, and help break the cycle. 🐾
