[FINAL/OFFICIAL RESULTS OF THE SLSU SSCF FEDERAL POPULAR ELECTIONS '26]

It is with great honor that the Commission presents the final tally of votes for this year's Election Day.

As the voting closed this afternoon, the SLSU FEDCOM verified the total number of votes garnered by all the candidates, as well as the election turnout from the whole university. Sixteen colleges and campuses exercised their democratic right to vote for the people they believe will bring success and prosperity to Southern Luzon State University, and with that, the following names have been chosen:

PRESIDENT/STUDENT REGENT - Wesley Jyllian D. Palines - 16 Federal Votes
VICE PRESIDENT FOR INTERNAL AFFAIRS - Elain Rozchle V. Ayala - 16 Federal Votes
VICE PRESIDENT FOR EXTERNAL AFFAIRS - Lara Grace April Acuña - 14 Federal Votes
VICE PRESIDENT FOR FINANCE AND IGP - Ramon Miguel B. Ballena - 16 Federal Votes

All executive posts have been fulfilled through these elections, and the election turnout reached 4,461 voters in the university. With this, the Commission ends this day with gratitude to the student body of SLSU. It is through your will and trust that SLSU Federal Commission on Elections continues to work hard in delivering a right and just electoral process.

SSCF Elections '26 | Miting de Avance: Yes or No Segment
Yesterday, during the Miting de Avance for the SLSU SSCF Federal Popular Elections '26, one of the activities was the “Yes or No” portion. This part made the opinions and stances of each candidate evident to the students of the university.

ATTENTION, STUDENTS OF SLSU

The Miting de Avance for the SLSU SSCF Federal Popular Elections 2026 will take place tomorrow, April 28, 2026, at exactly 3:00pm, inside the SLSU Gymnasium.

Students are encouraged to participate in this university-wide activity in preparation for the Election Day. This is for you to assess the candidates based on how well they will present themselves and their platforms upfront.

All these are in hopes of a productive and just electoral procedure, befitting of the trust that the student body placed on the Commission.

The SLSU Federal Commission on Elections (FEDCOM) officially releases the updated timeline of activities for the upcoming SSCF Federal Popular Elections through Memorandum Circular No. 4, s. 2026, issued today, March 26, 2026.

The student body is hereby informed of the following adjusted schedule:

Screening of Aspirants – April 8, 2026
Campaign Period – April 9-27, 2026
Miting de Avance – April 28, 2026
Election Day – April 30, 2026
Proclamation Day – April 30, 2026

The Commission encourages the entire SLSU community to engage actively by voting and observing fair election standards.

TO ALL THE STUDENTS OF SLSU

The Commission formally announces the official timeline of activities for the SLSU SSCF Federal Popular Elections 2026. This is via the MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR No. 01, s.2026, published today, March 5, 2026.

The Memorandum highlights the official dates of the electoral activities set by the Commission. It calls for the active participation of all students on campus in an informed decision-making process to choose the right future leaders of the university.

Finally, the memo calls for immediate dissemination within SLSU.

Congratulations to the newly elected College of Engineering Student Council Officers for Academic Year 2026-2027 that have garnered more than 50% of affirmative votes.

On behalf of the Commission, we would like to congratulate the winners for this year's local election, and thank those who stepped up to lead the student body, and who participated in the democratic process.
