The 𝐔𝐏𝐋𝐁 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐚 𝐑𝐡𝐨 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 extends its gratitude to all freshmen, shiftees, and transferees who connected with the Brotherhood at Booth #1 during 𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗞 𝗨𝗣: 𝗔 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 last August 12, 2026, at UPLB Freedom Park.

In the spirit of fellowship and service, the Fraternity was pleased to distribute complimentary ID lanyards and juice packs to welcome our newest scholars as they begin their collegiate journey. These tokens serve as a warm reminder of the camaraderie and guidance available within the university.

As the academic year officially begins, we wish the freshman batch profound success in their pursuit of academic excellence, leadership, and service to the nation.

This new role is a testament to Brod Beau’s dedication to leadership and service. His commitment to giving back and making a difference in the community continues to inspire those around him.

Beyond his work in Rotary, Brod Beau also continues to serve the Fraternity as the 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 of the 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 of the UPLB Sigma Rho Fraternity. Through both his civic and fraternal service, he continues to show that the values we learn in the Brotherhood extend far beyond the walls of UPLB.

As we welcome another year and semester in the University, we face the same set of systemic problems, from the numerous SUC budget cuts to the proposed "reformed" GE reform - persistent inroads in the true academic freedom which hinders Scholars from achieving the accessible quality education.

The 𝐔𝐏𝐋𝐁 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐚 𝐑𝐡𝐨 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 supports and invites everyone to join the First Semester Rage this August 4, starting 2:30 PM at the DHUM Steps. Raise our voices, our voices as a collective will be heard!

In the spirit of its 69th Anniversary, the UPLB Sigma Rho Fraternity held Handog RhoSig on July 13, 2026, in cooperation with Kanlungan ni Rizal in Barangay Bañadero, Calamba City for the children under their care under the Calamba City Social Services Department.

Over 29 children received school supplies, over-the-counter medicine, and grocery items, alongside provided meals, songs, and games with the Brothers. The initiative aimed to bring a day of fellowship and encouragement to the children, reinforcing that service and community support can shape the youth into upright and responsible citizens.

This meaningful engagement reaffirms the fraternity's commitment to inclusive education and to nation-building through an environment of service that uplifts every child, regardless of circumstance, leaving none behind.
