Unfortunately, our beloved cats only have one life, just like us! This myth stems from their agility, flexibility, balance, and ability to survive difficult situations. However, they can still be seriously injured or die.

Black cats do not bring bad luck, this myth is a superstition originating from medieval Europe, where they were associated with evil and witchcraft. A catโs coat color has no supernatural effect. Unfortunately, this myth still affects how black cats are treated and adopted.

Cats often use their natural righting reflex to turn their bodies while falling, but this does not mean they always land safely. These falls can cause sprains, broken bones, head trauma, and injuries.

Dogs do not age on the same one-to-seven formula. Rather, their rate of aging depends on factors such as size, breed, genetics, and life stage. Larger dogs also tend to age differently compared to smaller dogs.

A wagging shows emotional arousal, but not always happiness. Dogs may wag their tails because they are excited, anxious, frustrated, alert, or even aggressive. Their whole body language should be observed before approaching them

Dogs can see colors, but their color vision is more limited than human vision. While unable to see the same full range of colors as we do, their world is not purely black, white, and gray.

Some dogs may eat grass when they experience stomach discomfort, but healthy dogs also eat grass. This may have several possible causes, and it is not proof that a dog is sick. However, when the grass eating continues to persist and is accompanied with vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, or unusual behavior, please seek out a veterinarian immediately.

Indoor cats should still receive vaccinations recommended by their veterinarian. They may accidentally escape, encounter other animals, or be exposed to infectious agents from outside their home. These vaccines depend on the catโs age, health, lifestyle, and possible exposure risks. The CDC recommends keeping cats on routine vaccines such as rabies and feline distemper.

Pregnant women do not have to give their cats away automatically. Toxoplasmosis is associated with exposure to the parasite through contaminated cat f***s, soil, water, and undercooked food. Instead, pregnant women should ask someone else to clean the litter box or use disposable gloves, wash their hands afterward, and clean the litter box daily.
Animals deserve fair care and safety based on facts, not fear, stereotypes, or superstitions. Before believing or sharing information about pets, consult veterinarians and reliable animal-health organizations.
