Pest Management Council of the Philippines, Inc. The Pest Management Council of the Philippines (PMCP) was organized in 1969 and formally launched during 1st Conference on May 5-8, 1970 in Iloilo City.

FARMERS' FORUM & PEST CLINIC 2026 @ SULTAN KUDARAT CONCLUDES SUCCESSFULLY!

The recently concluded Farmers' Forum & Pest Clinic 2026 at Isulan, Sultan Kudarat brought together farmers, crop protection experts, industry partners, and PMCP organizers for a meaningful day of learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Participants gained valuable insights on current pest challenges, pest management strategies, and sustainable farming practices through expert discussions and one-on-one consultations. The event also provided a platform for farmers to exchange experiences and explore practical solutions that address pest threats in the area.

[FARMERS' FORUM & PEST CLINIC 2026]

Resource speakers from the academe, private industry, and government research institutions tackle pressing topics on Insect Management in Selected Annual & Perennial Crops--from management of the fall armyworm (FAW), insect pests of cacao, natural enemies of insect pests, bacterial & fungal diseases of crops such as coffee & vegetable crops, and fundamentals of safe handling, storage, use, & disposal of pesticide products.

The scientific discussions were led by Dr. Srinivas Parimi of Provivi, Inc., Dr. Divina M. Amalin & Dr. Alberto T. Barrion of De La Salle University, Dr. Michelle S. Guerrero of the National Crop Protection Center, Dr. Fe M. dela Cueva & Dr. Lo**ta M. Dolores of the Institute of Plant Breeding, and Mr. Nhover R. Barnacha of FMC Philippines Agricultural Solutions, Inc.

The Farmers' Forum & Pest Clinic, spearheaded by the W**d Science Society of the Philippines, Inc. in partnership with the societies and associations of the Pest Management Council of the Philippines, Inc.
