The UPLB Society of Pre-Med Students, established on August 15, 1990, is an academic-civic organization comprised of students from UPLB, belonging to different degree courses. With this, we are not only extending meaningful service, but we are also striving to change for the better, to d

The UPLB Society of Pre-Med Students proudly recognizes our Top Sigma Pi Sigma Residents from March to May 2026!

As the semester grew more demanding and finals season approached, these residents continued to embody the organization’s commitment to both knowledge empowerment and civic service. Despite academic pressures, they consistently showed initiative, reliability, and leadership in carrying out their responsibilities as Sigma Pi Sigma residents.

Amidst ongoing initiatives, organizational transitions, and leadership training for the incoming term, they exemplified service through knowledge through active participation, steady commitment, and the willingness to continuously learn, lead, and serve.

This month, we shine the spotlight on 𝗜𝗸𝗮 (𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲), 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗲 (𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲), 𝗔𝘀𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘆 (𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗼-𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲), and 𝗧𝗶𝗻 (𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲) for their remarkable dedication and service to the organization. 💛🤍

The UPLB Society of Pre-Med Students successfully concluded 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙠𝘼𝙆𝙎𝙔𝙊𝙉 2026 through the collective efforts of our volunteers, partners, and sponsors.

Matagumpay na naisakatuparan ang 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐤𝐀𝐊𝐒𝐘𝐎𝐍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 nitong nakaraang Mayo 2, 2026. Naglingkod ang The UPLB Society of Pre-Med Students sa mga residente ng Barangay Tadlac, Los Baños, Laguna sa pamamagitan ng libreng serbisyong medikal, dental, tuli, at pamamahagi ng mga gamot. 🧑‍⚕️🩺👩‍⚕️

Sa tulong ng ating mga boluntaryong doktor, dentista, nutrisyonista, at mag-aaral sa medisina, naipapakita natin na ang serbisyong pangkalusugan ay hindi dapat ituring na pribilehiyo – kundi isang karapatan na nararapat sa lahat. Sa bawat konsultasyon at sa bawat pusong puno ng pasasalamat, nabubuo ang kwento ng isang komunidad na pinagbubuklod ng malasakit, pagkakaisa, at sama-samang pagkilos.

Lubos ang aming pasasalamat sa lahat ng naging bahagi ng misyong ito – sa inyong dedikasyon at malasakit, tunay ninyong binigyang-buhay ang serbisyong may puso para sa mga higit na nangangailangan. 🤝

Gayunpaman, sa kabila ng tagumpay na ito, malinaw na ang mga medical missions ay pansamantalang tugon lamang sa mas malalim na suliraning dapat patuloy na bigyang pansin: ang hindi sapat at pantay na akses ng mga Pilipino sa maayos na serbisyong medikal. Hindi sasapat ang iisang araw ng paglilingkod upang tuluyang matugunan ang kakulangan; kaya’t mahalagang magkaroon ng pangmatagalang solusyon – ang isang sistemang pangkalusugang may pananagutang tunay at inklusibo para sa mga mamamayang Pilipino.

Sa huli, ang tunay na layunin ng 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙠𝘼𝙆𝙎𝙔𝙊𝙉 ay hindi lamang magpagaling, kundi magmulat, mag-ugnay, at magtulak ng pagbabago. 🗣️

The UPLB Society of Pre-Med Students officially drew the lucky winners of the 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗸𝗔𝗞𝗦𝗬𝗢𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 Fundraising Raffle! 🎉

Due to technical difficulties, we were unable to proceed with our Facebook Live broadcast. Instead, the raffle draw was conducted through a Zoom meeting with a continuous raw video recording to ensure transparency and fairness. 🎥✨

Every ticket purchased helped bring healthcare, medicines, and hope closer to the communities we serve. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported our cause! 🍀✨
