As we look back on 𝐀.𝐘. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, let us take a moment to recognize the individuals who led, served, and kept the MICROSOC colony growing throughout the year.

To our 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞, thank you for leading MICROSOC through 𝐀.𝐘. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 and for making it a year worth looking back on. There were long days, unexpected challenges, and moments when things did not go according to plan. Yet, you continued to show up and do what needed to be done. All those efforts, seen and unseen, helped make MICROSOC what it was this year.

To those who have moved forward as graduates, and to everyone beginning a new chapter, thank you for being part of MICROSOC and for helping make this year one to remember. 💚💛

𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗧𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴, 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗵𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗴, 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗶𝗸𝗹𝗮𝗯

Nakikiisa ang The UPLB Microbiological Society sa First Semester Rage ngayong akademikong taon na gaganapin sa ika-4 ng Agosto. Higit pa sa isang inisyatibo, ito ay isang pagkakataon upang sama-samang mailantad ang ating mga hinaing, maipahayag ang ating mga panawagan, at kondenahin ang mga katiwalian at kamaliang nararanasan sa kasalukuyan. Ito na ang oras upang isigaw ang ating mga tinig at mariing tutulan ang patuloy na budget cuts sa edukasyon at ang mga kwestiyonableng GE Reforms na magdudulot lamang ng higit na pasanin sa mga estudyante at patuloy na magpapahina sa kalidad at aksesibilidad ng edukasyon.

Idagdag pa rito ang ating pagtuligsa at mariing pagtutol sa Pax Silica, na isa lamang instrumento ng imperyalistang Amerika at ng administrasyong Marcos Jr. upang samantalahin ang likas na yaman ng ating bansa at magsilbing plataporma para sa higit pang korapsyon, katiwalian, at panghihimasok sa ating pambansang soberanya.

Ngayon ang panahon upang kumilos at magpakilos. Tumindig, maghayag, at magsiklab para sa ating mga karapatan, sa dekalidad na edukasyon, at sa kinabukasan ng sambayanan.
