Malugod naming binabati ang isa sa mga kasalukuyang MCA representative at BCA Batong Malake President sa kaniyang pagpasa sa pagsusulit ng 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 - 𝙍𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙖𝙩 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 - 𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙧𝙯𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙨. 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙞 𝙖𝙩 𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙥𝙪𝙥𝙪𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙢𝙜𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧!

Ang pagkakaroon ng isang mahusay, maganda, at dekalidad na edukasyon ay isa sa mga kinakailangan na tinatamasa ng isang bata sa buong mundo alinsunod sa Artikulo 28 at 29 ng United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Children (UNCRC). Sa pamamagitan nito maipapamalas ng mga bata ang kanilang paglago, makalahok sa mga gawaing tungkol sa kanila, at matulungan ng pamahalaan sa kahit na anong paraan.

At isa na namang makabuluhang taong panuruan ang nagtapos. Mga buwang napuno ng mga ala-ala, halakhak, iyak, at marami pang iba. May mga nabuong pagkakaibigan at meron din namang natapos. Sa kabila nito, isa lang ang sigurado, may yugto na nagtapos at may bagong magsisimula.

Kaya naman malugod naming binabati ang mga opisyales ng Municipal Children’s Association of Los Baños na nagkamit ng karangalan, naglipat-antas, at nagtapos. Sila ay nagpakita ng kanilang angking dedikayon at pagpupursige sa pag-aaral. Nawa ay magsilbi silang inspirasyon sa mga kapwa nila batang Los Bañense.

Matagumpay na naisagawa ang dalawang araw na training na may temang “Strengthening Local Response to Violence Against Women and Children” nitong Marso 30–31, 2026 sa Amazing View, Mabitac, Laguna.

Dinaluhan ito ng mga miyembro ng LCAT-VAWC, Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) at BCPC Focal Person ng bawat barangay ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Los Baños sa pamumuno ni Hon. Mayor Neil Andrew Nocon, bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagpapalakas ng mga programa at mekanismo laban sa karahasan sa kababaihan at kabataan.

Tinalakay sa nasabing pagsasanay ang mahahalagang paksa tulad ng pag-unawa sa gender, power, at violence; gender-fair language at SOGIESC; legal framework on VAWC; survivor-centered at rights-based case handling; barangay VAW desk protocols at documentation; at mga best practices sa pagtugon sa mga kaso sa komunidad.

Lubos ang pasasalamat ng pamahalaang bayan sa mga nagbahagi ng kanilang kaalaman at karanasan sa aktibidad na sina Dir. Roselle Collado, Head ng UPLB Gender Center; Ms. Sairah Mae Saipudin, University Research Associate ng UPLB Gender Center; Mr. Renato Dumagco ng UPLB Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment; at Ms. Genesis Giselle Baseleres ng UPLB. Naging katuwang din ang mga kinatawan ng UPLB Gender Center na sina Ms. Maria Christina Padua, Mr. Jimboy Altoveros, Mr. Ken Mandap, at Ms. Collien Saludo.

Ang pagsasanay na ito ay pinangunahan ng MSWDO sa pamumuno ni Ms. Hanna Erika Laviña, katuwang ang Gender and Development (GAD) Office sa pamumuno ni Ms. Karen Mercado. Dumalo rin si Hon. Councilor Leren Mae Bautista, Chairperson ng Committee on Women and Family at ng buong miyembro ng LCAT-VAWC Council, bilang suporta sa adhikaing ito.

Sa pamamagitan ng ganitong mga inisyatibo, patuloy na pinagtitibay ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Los Baños ang kanilang pangako na protektahan ang karapatan, dignidad, at kapakanan ng bawat kababaihan at kabataan. 💜🌿

Pinangunahan ng ating butihing Mayor Neil Andrew N. Nocon ang 4th Quarter Meeting ng Municipal Council for the Protection of Children (MCPC) at ng Local Committee Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) nitong December 4, 2025 (Miyerkules) sa Municipal Conference Hall.

Binigyang-diin sa pagpupulong ang implementasyon ng Republic Act No. 11930, kilala bilang Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) at Anti-Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM) Act, at ang Presentation of the 2025 Accomplishment Report, kung saan ipinakita ang mga tagumpay, programa, at kolektibong pagsisikap ng Pamahalaang Lokal, iba’t ibang ahensya, at mga barangay upang higit pang pagtibayin ang pagtugon sa proteksyon ng kabataan at kababaihan laban sa karahasan at pang-aabuso.

Katuwang ang iba’t ibang sektor, nananatiling matatag ang lokal na Pamahalaan sa hangaring isulong ang isang mas ligtas, mas maaasahan, at mas mapagkalingang bayan para sa bawat pamilyang Los Bañense.
