PhilHealth YAKAP Caravan in Loreto

On August 19, 2026, the PhilHealth YAKAP Caravan was conducted at the Loreto Primary Care Facility, bringing essential healthcare services closer to the residents of Loreto.

As part of the initiative, Barangay San Vicente was the first barangay visited to avail of the YAKAP benefits and services. Residents were provided with access to free medical consultations, health screenings, medicines, and other essential healthcare services.

The activity underscores the continued commitment of PhilHealth and local partners to strengthen community-based healthcare and ensure that quality and accessible health services reach every Loretonhon.

Through the YAKAP Program, we continue to promote a healthier and more empowered community by bringing healthcare services directly to the people.

𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬, 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞

The Loreto Primary Care Facility (LPCF) staff participated in Basic Life Support and Standard First Aid Training from July 27–31, 2026. This training aims to equip all LPCF personnel with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively in emergencies, highlighting the vital importance of saving lives.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Department of Health – Center for Health Development (Caraga) and the Regional Health Emergency Unit for their patience and for sharing their expertise, this training would not have been possible without you. To all our kind and understanding trainers, we are deeply grateful for this opportunity to better serve those in need.

A heartfelt thank you to our Provincial Health Officer II of Agusan del Sur, Dr. Jacqueline Frances F. Momville, MD, MPM, for her continuous support in upgrading our practical skills in emergency response and life-saving care. Initiatives like this play a vital role in ensuring our preparedness when disaster or medical emergencies occurs.

This successful training program would not have been possible without the tireless efforts and expert guidance of our facilitator, Mr. Franco Pierre B. Olaer, RMT, MSMLS, Provincial DRRM-H Manager. We are immensely grateful for your outstanding leadership and steadfast support throughout this event.
