In our history, the Babaylan were the healers, the visionaries, and the guiding spirit of the community. Today, that same legacy lives on in every woman who balances incredible strength with deep compassion. It can be seen in the quiet resilience of those who anchor our homes, drive our industries, and care for our communities when times get tough.

We often search for leadership in history books or high offices, believing it only belongs to those with grand titles. But if we look closer at the women around us, we begin to recognize a familiar spirit.

In the first Monday of March, we gather not only for our regular Flag Raising Ceremony but also to officially launch Women’s Month celebration. 🇵🇭✨

With the theme “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!”, we honor the strength, wisdom, and leadership of the Babaylans—our pre-colonial Filipina leaders who stood as healers, warriors, and pillars of the community.

May their courage inspire today’s Filipinas to lead with heart, serve with purpose, and rise with confidence. 💜
