The Katalonan South Luzon Chapter participated in the Gender Sensitivity Training held in celebration of Women's Month at the Ground Floor of the Innovation Building, Philippine Normal University South Luzon. The activity aimed to promote greater awareness and understanding of gender equality, respect, and inclusivity within the academic community.

Bilang pagtatapos ng pagdiriwang ng Transgender Awareness Week, binibigyang-boses natin ang mga saloobin, paninindigan, at pangakong hatid ng ating Core Officers, mga miyembro ng Katalonan–South Luzon Chapter, at mga kaalyado ng transgender community.

Sa tanong na:
“Ano ang iyong pahayag hinggil sa kahalagahan ng pagdiriwang ng Transgender Awareness Week?
Bilang isang PNUan, paano mo maisusulong ang pagkilala, pakikiisa, at pag-suporta para sa Transgender Community, lalo na sa pagwaksi ng mga maling pananaw, stigma, at limitadong pag-unawa tungkol sa pagiging transgender?”

— ipinamalas nila ang kani-kanilang makukulay na pananaw, bukas-pusong pag-unawa, at tunay na solidaridad.

Ang kanilang mga tinig ay paalala na ang paglikha ng ligtas, pantay, at inklusibong espasyo ay sama-samang tungkulin—na nagsisimula sa pakikinig, pag-aaral, at pagtindig para sa katotohanan at karapat-dapat na dignidad ng bawat indibidwal.

Habang nagtatapos ang linggong ito, hindi nagtatapos ang ating laban para sa pagkilala, pagkakapantay-pantay, at pagmamahal.
Patuloy tayong magpupunyagi upang ang bawat trans person ay makita, marinig, at maramdaman ang kanilang halaga.

Sa PNUSL, sa Katalonan, at sa ating komunidad—pipiliin at pipiliin natin ang pagkakapantay-pantay. 💗🏳️‍⚧️
