The SK Council is pleased to inform everyone that there will be another release of Educational Assistance for the upcoming school year!

This program is open to students aged 15โ€“30 years old.

We encourage all interested applicants to prepare and submit their requirements.

๐Ÿ“Œ REQUIREMENTS:
โ€ข Valid ID
โ€ข Choose only ONE of the following:
โ€“ Certificate of Enrollment (COE)
โ€“ Certificate of Registration (COR)
โ€“ Study Load
โ€“ Receipt of Enrollment/Tuition

Note: Submit photocopies only.

๐Ÿ“Œ Submit your requirements to any SK official on or before June 30, 2026.
๐Ÿ“Œ Failure to submit requirements will not receive educational assistance.

As our fiesta is fast approaching and the novena and nightly activities have begun, the SK Council initially planned the Canhangdon Occidental Festival Queen 2026 on January 17, 2026. Unfortunately, this has been cancelled due to incomplete participants and limited time for preparation.
As an alternative, a Disco Night was planned by our SK COUNCIL, but due to the possible immediate start of the covered court construction as advised by our Punong Barangay, the venue is unavailable. Thus, the Disco event is also cancelled.

8AM, November 3, 2025

Severe Tropical Storm Tino continues to move closer to land.

Wind signal no. 3 is now raised in southeastern Eastern Samar, Dinagat Islands, and Siargao and Bucas Grande Islands of Surigao del Norte.

The whole province of Bohol, northern and central Cebu, and northeastern Negros Occidental have also been placed under signal no. 2.

Four other areas were also added to places under signal no. 1: southern Quezon, southern Marinduque, Calamian Islands, and northern Bukidnon.

At 7 a.m. Monday, Tino was located 360 km east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar, packing winds of 110 kph and with gusts up to 135 kph.

It is moving west southwestward at 25 kph.

Tino may make landfall as a typhoon at or near peak intensity of 150-165 kph winds over the vicinity of southern Eastern Samar, Leyte, Southern Leyte, or Dinagat Islands Tuesday midnight or early morning.
