On the evening of April 5, 2024, during a drinking session at the farm residence (Cacawan) of Mr. Cyrus “Bodong" Monjes, a native of Agkawayan, a group of patriotic men, both young and old, convened to discuss their shared dreams and ambitions for the betterment of their beloved hometown, Agkawayan. This gathering, led by Mr. Wilfredo Abeleda, also known as "Supremo," resulted in the formation of a new organization named Kaisa ng Barrio Agkawayan (KBA).

The aim of Kaisa ng Barrio Agkawayan is to unite the people of Agkawayan by supporting all the aspirations of the barangay. Their mission includes initiating long-term projects for the prosperity and benefit of their fellow residents (kababayan) in Barrio Agkawayan. The organization is committed to spreading love and compassion among its members, preserving the traditions and culture of the barangay, ensuring the well-being and safety of every citizen, and improving the livelihood of the poorer residents of Agkawayan…
