And we wrapped up the week with meaningful volunteer work over the weekendโ€”providing psychological and psychiatric consultations at the Parish and National Shrine of St. Padre Pio.

A week after the PMHA Batangas Mental Health Conference 2026, we look back on a meaningful gathering of professionals, advocates, students, and changemakers united by one purpose โ€” to deepen our understanding of mental health in a rapidly changing world.

With the theme, โ€œ๐— ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—›๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜๐—ต ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—ฎ ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ช๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—น๐—ฑ: ๐—ง๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐˜€, ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—น๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฒ๐˜€, ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€๐—ฒ๐˜€,โ€ the conference became a space for learning, collaboration, and reflection. Through insightful discussions and shared experiences, we were reminded that mental health care continues to evolve alongside the realities faced by individuals and communities today.

More than a conference, it was a powerful reminder that compassion, competence, and collective action remain at the heart of mental health advocacy. As we continue to face emerging challenges, may we carry forward the knowledge we gained, the conversations we shared, and the commitment to create a more understanding and mentally healthy society.

Indeed, we continue to learn so we can continue to serve.
