Throughout the week, Canossians carried their spirit of discipline and collaboration beyond the sports activities by participating in the post-event clean-up across the school grounds. Their collective efforts ensured the proper gathering and disposal of concession litter and other waste left from various activities, which helped maintain an orderly, safe, and welcoming school environment.

In line with the academic year 2025-2026โ€™s one-week sports fest and alongside the thrilling sports competition and events, a collaborative joint project spearheaded by the Stewards of Human Life and Responsible Environmentalists (S.H.A.R.E). The club, along with the Canossian Advocates for Life and Civic Engagement (CALCE), and the HS CLSO will lead the CAmpus Clean Up Drive 2025. This week, letโ€™s keep up the same energy in sports, teamwork, and commitment we show on the court and field into ensuring our school grounds are spotless and a source of pride for the entire community.

Last Friday, we celebrated ๐‘พ๐’๐’“๐’๐’… ๐‘ญ๐’Š๐’”๐’‰๐’†๐’“๐’Š๐’†๐’” ๐‘ซ๐’‚๐’š. This is held every November 21 to spotlight the importance of sustainable fisheries and the protection of our oceans, rivers, and lakes. ๐Ÿชธ

First established in 1997, this day recognizes the hard work and resilience of fishing communities across the world. It also calls attention to the threats they face: overfishing, pollution, habitat loss, and illegal or unreported fishing, all of which endanger marine life and future food sources. ๐ŸŽฃ

World Fisheries Day matters because fisheries nourish millions, support livelihoods, strengthen local cultures, and keep our global food systems alive. By choosing to protect our waters today, we invest in a healthier, more abundant tomorrow: for the ocean, for our communities, and for every life that depends on them. ๐Ÿ’™

World Rivers Day is a celebration of the worldโ€™s waterways. This day emphasizes the numerous benefits of our rivers, aims to raise public awareness, and promotes better management of all rivers globally ๐ŸŒ. Rivers in almost every nation encounter numerous dangers, and only through our participation can we guarantee their vitality in the future. It is indeed a wonderful day of celebration to reflect on the beauty and value of our rivers and to commit to protecting ๐Ÿ›ก them for future generations๐Ÿ‘ช.
