Today, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟒, we remember the birth anniversary of 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐦é 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐬 𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐬, one of the pioneers and key figures in the development of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines. His dedication to youth development, leadership, and Scouting continues to inspire generations of Scouts and Scouters to uphold the values of service, discipline, and leadership.

As we honor his legacy, may we always carry the spirit of Scouting in our daily lives: remember the past, serve the present, and shape the future. May his contributions remind us that every Scout has a role in continuing the legacy of those who came before us and building a better tomorrow through service.

Today, August 21, we honor Ninoy Aquino Day, remembering the life, courage, and sacrifice of Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.

His unwavering commitment to democracy and freedom reminds us that true love for our country means standing for truth, justice, courage, and the Filipino people. His sacrifice became a powerful symbol of the Filipino spirit—the courage to speak for what is right, even in difficult times.

As Scouts, may we carry this legacy by serving our community with integrity, respecting the rights of others, and using our voices and actions to contribute to a better Philippines.

May Ninoy’s courage continue to inspire every Filipino, especially the youth, to value freedom, protect democracy, and become responsible citizens who are willing to serve and stand for what is right.

“A nation worth serving is a nation worth fighting for.”

May we never forget the courage that helped awaken a nation. His legacy lives on in every Filipino who chooses courage, truth, and service.

The meeting highlighted the importance of communication, cooperation, and responsibility as the Crew continues to work together.

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Outfit 280 successfully conducted its First Outfit Meeting, bringing together scouts and officers to discuss important matters, responsibilities, upcoming activities, and plans for the Outfit.

The meeting provided an opportunity for everyone to be reminded of the importance of fulfilling their duties, staying committed to their responsibilities, and actively participating in the activities of the Outfit. It also served as a space to share concerns, discuss ideas, and ensure that everyone remains guided and prepared for the scouting activities ahead.

As we continue our journey in Scouting, may every meeting strengthen not only our organization but also the character of every Scout. Leadership is not simply about holding a position—it is about being responsible, dependable, and willing to contribute for the betterment of others.
