Last September 24, we officially welcomed our Student Assistants for ๐—”๐—จ๐—ฆ๐—”โ€™๐˜€ ๐—ข๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป & ๐——๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐—น๐—ผ๐˜†๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ at the Tiered Hall, UBLC. ๐Ÿค

It was an afternoon filled with new faces, meaningful conversations, and a shared commitment to serve. From getting to know one another to learning more about our roles and responsibilities, the orientation marked the beginning of another year of growth, teamwork, and service.

Today, the AUSA Student Assistants joined the Punla sa Kalikasan Tree Planting Activity at Biak-na-Bundok, Brgy. Talisay, Lipa City.

As Student Assistants, we spend much of our time serving within our respective offices and supporting the university community. Today, we stepped outside those spaces to take part in an initiative that allows us to give back in a different way.

From preparing the seedlings to getting our hands in the soil, every small effort today was a reminder that meaningful change can start with simply showing up and doing our part. ๐ŸŒฑ

Today, as we remember the life and legacy of ๐˜ฝ๐™š๐™ฃ๐™ž๐™œ๐™ฃ๐™ค โ€œ๐™‰๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™ค๐™ฎโ€ ๐˜ผ๐™ฆ๐™ช๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™ค ๐™…๐™ง., we honor a man whose ๐™˜๐™ค๐™ช๐™ง๐™–๐™œ๐™š ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™จ๐™–๐™˜๐™ง๐™ž๐™›๐™ž๐™˜๐™š became a powerful symbol of the Filipino peopleโ€™s fight for ๐™›๐™ง๐™š๐™š๐™™๐™ค๐™ข ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™™๐™š๐™ข๐™ค๐™˜๐™ง๐™–๐™˜๐™ฎ.

Fun fact: Ninoyโ€™s famous words, โ€œThe Filipino is worth dying for,โ€ were spoken during an interview in the United States in 1980, reflecting his deep belief in the Filipino people and his hope for a free and democratic Philippines.

May we continue to remember his words, honor his sacrifice, and, most importantly, live by the values he stood for. May his legacy remind us that courage can inspire a nation, and that the fight for freedom is a responsibility we all share. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ
