In every generation, people face strugglesโsome just werenโt given the right words before.
๐๐๐ญ๐ฌ is here once again to bust the Myth ๐ and expose the Fact โ๏ธ about mental health awareness ๐ฑ:
A common belief says, โNung panahon namin, wala namang ganyan.โ But the truth is, mental illnesses have always existedโthey were simply misunderstood, dismissed, or labeled differently. In the past, people were often told to โjust be strong,โ and many struggled in silence due to stigma and lack of awareness.
Today, what has changed is not the existence of mental illness, but our understanding of it. With better research, language, and access to diagnosis, we are now able to recognize, name, and support these experiences more effectively. This shift allows more people to seek help and be heard without shame.
Acknowledging mental health doesnโt create problems, it creates space for healing. ๐
