Empowering the Future: IIEE NBC Connects with PUP Sto. Tomas EE Students ✨

The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers - Northern Batangas Chapter (IIEE-NBC) continues its mission to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry reality. Recently, we had the privilege of inspiring the bright minds of the Electrical Engineering department at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) - Sto. Tomas Campus.

Representing the committee were our very own leaders, Engr. Ivy Marie Magsombol (IIEE NBC President) and Engr. Jansen Rubico (Committee Member), who stood as guest speakers to share their expertise, experiences, and vision for the profession.

As a committee, our goal is always to uplift communities and mentor the next generation. During the seminar, we focused on:

Real-World Ready: Translating theoretical engineering concepts into actual field applications and community impact.

The Path to Excellence: Guiding students on what it takes to transition smoothly from academia to becoming licensed, globally competitive professionals.

The Strength of Unity: Emphasizing the vital role of IIEE in supporting them throughout their upcoming careers.

The Bigay Liwanag Project: A Partnership for a Safer Future

Another dedicated electrical safety advocacy program born from the powerful collaboration between IIEE NBC, De La Salle Lipa and IIEE Abu Dhabi.

This initiative isn't just about providing light—it’s about ensuring that every flip of a switch is backed by professional standards and safety awareness. By combining the innovative spirit of La Salle’s engineering community with seasoned professionals of IIEE NBC we are bringing technical assistance and safety education to those who need it most.

We are thrilled to officially welcome our newest Registered Electrical Engineers (REE) and Registered Master Electricians (RME) to the professional community! ⚡️

Last May 3, we successfully held our onboarding session for the recent board exam passers from SEES PUP STC , De La Salle Lipa, and First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities (Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers - FAITH Student Chapter) Colleges. Seeing such fresh talent and dedication in one room was truly inspiring!
