𝐃𝐋𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐀𝐈’𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞-𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬
𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | De La Salle Lipa (DLSL), through the De La Salle Lipa Alumni Association, Inc. (DLSLAAI), in coordination with the Office of the Lasallian Assistance Management Program (LAMP), proudly marked a significant milestone with the awarding of laptops and educational grants to four Grade Six athlete-scholars—the first beneficiaries of the 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦.
The scholarship program is named in honor of Mr. Raul Patrick Concepcion, a distinguished alumnus of De La Salle Lipa and recipient of the 2022 DLSL Alumni Award, “𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙤 𝙨𝙖 𝙇𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙩 𝙋𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣.” His legacy continues to inspire young Lasallians to pursue excellence in both academics and athletics.
The awarding ceremony was held at the Concepcion Industrial Corporation, highlighting the strong partnership between the institution and its stakeholders in advancing educational opportunities. Leading the presentation of laptops and grants were Mr. Raul Joseph Concepcion, President and Chairman of the Board of Concepcion Industrial Corporation; Mr. Henson Ola, Director of the LAMP and Advancement Office; and Ms. Gina Lingao Sabater, Vice President - Internal of DLSLAAI and Chairperson of the Patrick Concepcion Athlete Scholarship Program.
The laptops and grants awarded to the scholars were made possible through the proceeds of the “𝘼𝙡𝙖 𝙀𝙝, 𝙍𝙪𝙣! 1𝙨𝙩 𝘿𝙇𝙎𝙇 𝙍𝙪𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙,” held last February 8, 2026, at The Outlets at Lima Estate in Lipa City, Batangas. The event successfully brought together the Lasallian community in support of student-athletes, reinforcing the shared commitment to holistic formation.
Further strengthening this initiative, Concepcion Industrial Corporation has expressed its commitment to establish an Endowment Fund that will sustain and expand scholarship opportunities for future beneficiaries. This generous support ensures that more deserving Lasallian athletes will have access to resources that empower them to succeed in both their academic and athletic pursuits.
Through the Patrick Concepcion Athlete Scholarship Program, De La Salle Lipa and its partners continue to nurture young talents, embodying the Lasallian mission of providing quality education and opportunities for those who strive for excellence.
