PRISON APOSTOLATE l KALINGANG OBLATOS

Love was lived. Mercy was shared. Hope was restored.

Last February 17, 2026, the Annual Prison Apostolate was held at the Batangas Provincial Rehabilitation Center, Brgy. Malainin, Ibaan, Batangas — a mission of faith and compassion led by Fr. Nelson Osorio, OSJ, in cooperation with Fr. Ed Carandang, OSJ, Chairman of the Commission on Social Apostolate of the Oblates of Saint Joseph (Philippine Province), together with Oblatos Foundation Inc.

The celebration began with the Holy Eucharist presided over by the Vicar Provincial, Fr. Faiq Edmerson T. Quinto, OSJ, followed by a healing session and the Sacrament of Confession. Spiritual renewal filled the hearts of the PDLs.

Simultaneous outreach services followed, medical and optical missions, legal counseling, free haircuts, and a feeding program. Free medicines and essential needs were also distributed.

This annual apostolate, offered by Fr. Nelson as a birthday thanksgiving, reminds us that the greatest gift we can give is ourselves in service to others.

Maraming salamat to all priests, benefactors, sponsors, and volunteers who make this mission possible every year.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Oblates of Saint Joseph Minor Seminary – San Jose, Batangas for the successful Community Outreach and Gift-Giving Program held on December 12, 2025, with the theme “Puso ng Kabataan, Liwanag ng Pasko.”

Through the dedication and joyful service of the seminarians, and the bright smiles and laughter of the children, the true spirit of Christmas was beautifully shared with the community. The love, care, and enthusiasm shown during this outreach brought hope, happiness, and inspiration to everyone present.

Thank you for touching young hearts and for being living examples of faith, compassion, and selfless service. May you continue to be a source of light and joy to many more communities. 🙏✨
