The Philippine flag was designed by Emilio Aguinaldo while he was in exile in Hong Kong in 1897?

It was first sewn by three women—Marcela Agoncillo, her daughter Lorenza, and Delfina Herbosa de Natividad.

The very first Philippine flag was proudly waved during the Declaration of Independence on June 12, 1898. It serves as an enduring tribute to the countless revolutionaries and citizens who sacrificed their lives for the country's liberty.💙❤️💛
