Mga kababayan ko sa mga nangyayari ito sa ating bansa ngayon na lumantad na ang grabeng corruption ay napapanahon na para manawagan tayo sa mga lahat ng mga kababayan mula sa politiko, mga kawani ng gobyerno at mga tulad natin na ordinaryong tao, na magsakripisyo, magpakabayani sapagkat ang ikakaunlad ng ating bansa ay tungkulin ng bawat isa sa atin.
So let us unite and call the attention of our leaders in Congress to craft a legislation which will empower the DPWH to do all infra projects of our government, make a nationwide development program so that even in the remote areas which have been neglected of their development shall have the hope to be reached by road projects.
This legislation will address the rampant corruption because the so-called SOPs, Parking fees, Contractor’s profit, OCMs and taxes shall go directly into the projects. The Congressmen/Senators can now concentrate in their legislative function rather than busy in identifying projects, much worst doing the contracting themselves. Or they could manifest their spirit of patriotism by donating their hidden wealth and accumulated SOPs to the government for payment of our external debt which ballooned to 15 trillions during Duterte’s adminstration.
But it seems , as of now , everybody is concentrated in investigation and nobody is proposing scheme to eradicate the source of corruption. And so, we need to call their attention, maybe through this Sept 21 trillion march.
Hoping somebody will shoutout this kind of call. Hoping so…
