The Provincial Government of Pangasinan (PGP), through the Center for Pangasinan Studies (CPS) and in partnership with the Universidad de Dagupan (UDD), successfully hosted the inaugural session of the 2026 Lecture Series. The event was conducted virtually via Zoom and Facebook Live.

She delivered an insightful presentation titled โArtificial Intelligence in Education, Research, and Extension,โ exploring the transformative power of AI and how it is reshaping the way we approach academic work and community service.
The webinar saw high engagement, reaching a peak of over 400 participants from across the province and over 4,000 Facebook reach. Attendees included representatives, students, and faculty members from the 11 CPS-Member Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), as well as various other stakeholders.
During the program, a special message from Governor Ramon V. Guico III was read by Atty. Kandace Loraine Palagud. The Governorโs message highlighted the importance of embracing AI as a vital tool to enhance teaching, research, and extension services, while also emphasizing the necessity of maintaining ethical standards and academic integrity in the digital age.
The Center for Pangasinan Studies remains grateful for the continued support of the Provincial Government under the visionary leadership of Governor Guico III.
It is our hope that this forum has enlightened both our educational leaders and learners, providing the inspiration and knowledge needed to navigate the role of Artificial Intelligence in our professional and daily lives.
