JCI Lingayen Liberation II is now a REGISTERED COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATION in the Philippines by the National Youth Commission- Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP).

The program facilitates the registration of youth and youth-serving organizations to ensure access and participation to NYC-initiated programs nationwide.

Said registration is by virtue of Republic Act No. 8044 and Republic Act No. 10742, upon compliance with the requirements set forth in the Policy Guidelines in the Registration of Youth Organizations and Youth-Serving Organizations (2017 Revitalized Youth Organization Registration Program Guidelines), and pursuant to NYC Resolution No. 21 Series of 2024.

With this, the JCI Lingayen Liberation II pledges to continue being a community catalyst to emphasize the immense role of the leadership organization in building a legacy in communities.

The local organization has come a long way but still, their heart goes to endless visualization of success. They roll up their sleeves and prepare for even bigger journey.

Amidst the serene shores of Anda, Pangasinan, JCI Philippines - Pangasinan Region united for a profound mission during the JCI Week Celebration. Under the leadership of Maria Katrina Viray, Regional Vice President of JCI Philippines Pangasinan Region, JCI Pangasinan Region chapters embarked on a journey to nurture nature and leave an enduring mark.

Lead to Serve, Make a Difference - the theme of JCI Week 2024 echoed through every moment of the program. Through the mangrove planting and a coastal clean-up drive conducted during the joint regional project, we didn't just talk about change, we made it happen. Together as one JCI Pangasinan Region, we cultivated a legacy of positivity, fostering a healthier environment for generations to come.

Guided by our esteemed Focal Person on Environment and Natural Resources/Solid Waste Management, Dr. Mac Arthur F. Aseo, and Mayor of Anda Pangasinan, Hon. Mayor Joganie Rarang, we were empowered to take meaningful action.

Bolstering collaboration with some local organizations in Lingayen, a fun activity named as β€œPagalaw ed Dayat”, was organized by the JCI Lingayen Liberation II to strengthen the bonding of the developmental partners.

Moving towards a battlecry as One Lingayen, Young and Old Libsong West Association (YOLWA), Youth Volunteer Facilitators of Lingayen (YVFL) and Epiphany of Our Lord Co-Cathedral Parish Youth Ministry joined the said event to make ties among members.

For the first time, the local organization paid tribute to partner youth associations by facilitating games like sack race, capture flag, catch the Dragon’s Tail and the traditional agawan ng buko.

The participants enjoyed the games which made a way to close ties with other organizations.

With this, JCI Lingayen Liberation II is looking forward to partner with the aforementioned organizations bringing a unified vision in making positive change in the communityβ€” the Lingayen.

Making it known as a brand that makes difference in the community, the JCI Lingayen Liberation II introduced JCI to 16 prospect new members of the local organization.

Local Skills Development Director Rey Marq Quintas presented the New Members Orientation or β€œOpportunity to Impact” to advertise JCI as leadership organization.

The orientation is part of the celebration of JCI Week to increase brand visibility and awareness to the community. It aims to provide information and history about JCI organization, both local and international, the vision and mission to the prospect new members.

In the end, LSDD Rey Marq showcased some notable local organization initiatives to inspire the potential members how they can help in the community by becoming active citizens.

JCI Lingayen Liberation II paved way to discuss how the Local Organization will sustain membership thru a training called β€œRetention Revolution: Keeping JCI members stay and engaged” this April 19.

Said topic which is part of the TrainOcate Series: Training to Educate, Innovate and Advocate, aims to present strategies on membership retention and sustenance of their engagemen t in the Local Organization.

Vice President for International Linkages Reneir Enriquez who is a Gabay completer, expounded the ways and facitated various activities including a role playing on ways to approach members on various retention strategies.

β€œRetention Revolution: Keeping JCI members stay and engaged” is a topic presented during the 2024 Area 1 Gabay Training happened in Alicia, Isabela last March 15-17.

The venture to introducing Pangasinan culture to young schoolers continues as Pasyar Pangasinan: Educultourism Project goes on tour.

This year’s implementation of the Best Cultural Project in JCIP-Area 1 took another route as Pasyar Pangasinan hightened up appreciation of local culture and tradition by visiting the Banaan Museum in Lingayen this April 17.

Over 40 future young tour guiders from Pangapisan Sur Day Care Center explored the rich and vibrant historical accounts of the provinceβ€” fueling their admiration to Pangasinan literature, food and historic places.

The BanΓ‘an Pangasinan Provincial Museum which is housed in the historic Casa Real, caters multicultural influences of history that embraces the present generations. Moreover, the museum features eleven (11) galleries that showcase the story of Pangasinan as a convergence point for culture, history, arts, education, and innovation.

β€œPasyar”, a Pangasinan term for adventureβ€”- the local organization brings an EduCulTourism campaign advocacy to mount value to local culture and tradition.

Women in the far-flung barangay of Lingayen in Wawa now have an additional income with the launching of KALIPI Livelihood Program as part of the celebration of JCI Week this April 14-20.

JCI Lingayen Liberation II provided a community-based income generating activity for women of Barangay Wawa discussing how to make dishwashing liquid.

The participants enjoyed the livelihood program especially that it will be helpful on their family’s upkeep.
