๐ Excitement filled Aseana Hall, Golden Lion Hotel, as fourth-year BSND students, together with their parents, families, faculty members, and guests, gathered for a day they had been looking forward to, the White Coat and Pinning Ceremony of the Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics students.
Welcoming everyone to this meaningful occasion, Dr. Susan D. Tiangson, Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters, shared a message recognizing the studentsโ growth and accomplishments throughout their academic journey. In her Inspirational Message, Dr. Marie Claire B. Briones, Campus Executive Director of Pangasinan State UniversityโLingayen Campus, reminded the students that their journey extends beyond academic accomplishments and encouraged them to embrace their future responsibilities with dedication and commitment. Ma'am Helen G. Viray, faculty member of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, introduced the guest speaker, Ms. Analiza S. Miranda, who shared meaningful insights and encouragement, reminding the students that becoming a Nutritionist-Dietitian requires not only academic knowledge, but also dedication, professionalism, responsibility, and a genuine commitment to serving others. ๐
The much-awaited White Coat and Pin Investiture then took place, marking a meaningful step in the studentsโ journey. This was followed by the Nutritionist-Dietitiansโ Pledge, led by Janjeryl R. Cabundoc, as the students affirmed their commitment to their chosen profession. One of the most touching parts of the ceremony was the Tribute to Parents, where students gave flowers to their parents as a simple way of saying thank you for their love, sacrifices, and support throughout the years. Bringing the ceremony to a meaningful close, Ma'am Jobelle R. Navarro, Chairperson of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, reminded the students to carry the lessons and values they have gained. โค๏ธโ๐ฉน
