Shaira’s Smile ❤️

From her sweet smile before surgery to her beautiful smile after surgery, 5-month-old Shaira Brille is a little reminder of why this mission matters. 🥹❤️

Shaira is one of our Abounding in Love beneficiaries from the southern part of Cebu. She was admitted Tuesday, had her surgery Wednesday, and was discharged today, ready to go home with her family. 🥰

Thank you to the amazing Operation Rainbow Australia medical team, Kiwanis Club of Cebu, ICM Cebu base, to our Donors and to everyone who made this possible. You’ve given this little girl not just healing, but hope. 🙏❤️

DAY 5 | Operation Rainbow Australia Medical Mission ❤️

Day 5 of the mission and Day 4 of surgeries and we’re grateful for another successful day.

So far, 65 children have undergone reconstructive surgery, including 6 additional children added to this week’s mission. 47 have already been discharged and are recovering well.

Today, 16 more children were admitted for tomorrow’s surgeries, which will be our last admission day.

Every child represents a family, a journey, and a story of hope. We’re thankful to see these little ones take another step toward healing and a better tomorrow.

Thank you to Operation Rainbow Australia, ICM Cebu base, and Kiwanis Club of Cebu for making this meaningful mission possible.

DAY 3 | Operation Rainbow Australia Medical Mission

Today marks the 3rd day of the Operation Rainbow Australia medical mission and the 2nd day of the surgery schedule here in Cebu Adventist Hospital.

We’re grateful to share that the 15 children who underwent surgery on Day 1 have successfully completed their procedures and were discharged from the hospital today. Seeing them go home with renewed hope and brighter smiles is truly heartwarming.

Today, another 16 children are undergoing surgery, while 15 more children have been admitted and are now preparing for tomorrow’s surgery schedule.

Behind every number is a child, a family, and a story of hope. We are so thankful to everyone who continues to make these life-changing moments possible.

A heartfelt thank you to Operation Rainbow Australia, ICM Cebu base, and Kiwanis Club of Cebu for coming together to serve these children and their families. Your compassion, time, and dedication are making a lasting difference.

Together, we are giving children more than a new smile, we are giving them hope.

Drake’s New Beginning

Meet Drake from Capiz! Drake and his mother traveled 16 hours to Cebu for the opportunity to receive his cleft lip surgery. They stayed at the Abounding in Love facility for two days before the screening.

Today, Drake became the FIRST beneficiary to receive cleft lip surgery on Day 1 of the Operation Rainbow Australia Medical Mission at Adventist Hospital. 🥹

A successful screening day!

Today, 92 children came for screening at Operation Rainbow Australia Medical Mission, and 86 children qualified for surgery this week.

Among them were 63 Abounding in Love beneficiaries, with 58 qualifying for surgery. Many traveled from different parts of the Philippines, some for 10 hours or more holding on to hope for the surgery they need. ❤️

We are grateful to Operation Rainbow Australia, Kiwanis Club of Cebu, and ICM Cebu base for making this mission possible.

💙 1 DAY TO GO!

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the Operation Rainbow Australia Medical Mission, and children like Jarvis are holding on to hope.

At just 5 years old, Jarvis has already come a long way. After receiving his cleft lip surgery, he is now preparing for the next step in his journey.

This mission, Jarvis is hoping to receive his cleft palate surgery, the next important step that could help improve his speech, build his confidence, and make everyday life a little easier as he continues school.

Please keep Jarvis and all the children and families traveling from different parts of the Philippines in your prayers as they begin this journey. We are grateful to the Operation Rainbow Australia Medical Team, our donors, and partners for making this mission possible.

💙 4 DAYS TO GO!

Meet Drake, a 6-month-old baby from Roxas City, Capiz, who was born with a complete unilateral lip. Together with his parents, Drake will travel all the way to Cebu, leaving home for several days with one hope in their hearts, that their little boy will finally receive the cleft lip surgery he has been waiting for.

Drake is just one of many children and families traveling from different parts of the Philippines to join the Operation Rainbow Australia Medical Mission this August 8–15, believing that this journey will change their child's life forever.

As we count down to screening day, please keep Drake and all our beneficiaries in your prayers. Your support and encouragement give hope to families who need it most.
