Did you know? On March 19, 2026, we mark exactly ten years since the Albay Biosphere Reserve was officially recognized by UNESCO.

Being part of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves means we are part of a global community dedicated to finding solutions to the greatest challenges of our time balancing the needs of our people with the preservation of our planet.

The 𝐋𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 and the 𝐋𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 proudly congratulate the winners of the different contests held during the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 of Ligao National High School, conducted on 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟏–𝟏𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.⁣

The three-day celebration showcased students’ skills in logic, strategy, creativity, and problem-solving through various mathematical activities such as 𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘭, 𝘙𝘶𝘣𝘪𝘬’𝘴 𝘊𝘶𝘣𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘗𝘪 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦, 𝘋𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘛𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘛𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘏𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘪 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵, 𝘗𝘪 𝘌𝘹𝘩𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘭𝘰 𝘈𝘳𝘵 𝘔𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵. On March 14, 2026 (Saturday), the LNHS Mathematics Club celebrated Pi Day and the International Day of Mathematics with the theme “Mathematics and Hope” which featured an online contest, the 𝐏𝐢 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞, where students searched for words related to the concept of "Pi".⁣
