Basketball has always been a popular sport in the Philippines, and it motivates people of all ages. It has been used as a way to stay active and fit. Others use it as their way to connect with friends and family. And for some , it simply means expressing their self.
Through basketball, the youth will be able to build stronger social relationships and navigate towards self-exploration. It will also improve their self-esteem, communication skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making. This sport will let them practice teamwork through listening and empathy as it requires effort and support.
As an organization that promotes a youth-friendly community that enables the youth to take part with the improvement and success of their community, the Sitio Tukian Tastas Youth Organization - STTYO had come up with the campaign "Kaya ta kadi! PISO para sa Homecourt! - P5 Basketball Court Repair and Repainting"
In this regard, the STTYO humbly asks for help in aiding them towards the success of this campaign. The campaign aims to collect enough funds for the materials to be used with the repair and repainting of the basketball court located at Purok 5, Sitio Tukian, Tastas, Ligao City.
