GTC AKLAN HOLDS OCC GIFT-GIVING, EVANGELISM OUTREACH IN BARANGAY BONZA

Children and families in Barangay Bonza experienced the love of Christ through a three-day evangelism and gift-giving outreach led by Grace Testament Church Aklan in partnership with Operation Christmas Child of Samaritan's Purse from May 15–17, 2026.

The outreach included Bible-based teachings, evangelism activities, graduation rites, and the distribution of gifts to children in the community.

The event was made possible with the help of the workers and leaders of Jesus is Lord Julita, together with local officials.

Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse that shares shoebox gifts, the Gospel, and discipleship opportunities with children around the world.

Every Thursday and Saturday, people continue to grow deeper in God’s Word through the Bible studies of Grace Testament Church Aklan.

Families also gather once a month for a joint Bible study, strengthening faith, fellowship, and discipleship together as one community in Christ.

These gatherings are being led weekly by GTC Aklan Resident Pastor, Ps. Jonathan Calisaan.

Hindi buffet ang Salita ng Diyos. Hindi tayo pumipili lang ng “masarap” at iiwas sa “masakit.”

Kapag ginawa nating option ang utos Niya, nagiging opinion na lang ang katotohanan.

Pero ang Biblia hindi nagbibigay ng suggestions—nagsasalita ito ng may awtoridad.

At ang awtoridad ng Diyos, hindi ina-adjust sa lifestyle natin—tayo ang binabago nito.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable…” (2 Timothy 3:16)

“Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” (John 17:17)

“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only…” (James 1:22)

Hindi selective obedience kundi whole truth, whole surrender.

Even when the road feels long, God is still good.

There are seasons when the journey seems slow—when prayers take time to be answered, when plans don’t unfold the way we hoped, and when the path ahead feels uncertain. But the goodness of God is not measured by how easy the road is. His goodness remains constant, even in waiting, even in difficulty.

The Bible reminds us that God's heart is always compassionate toward His creation. He sees every struggle, every prayer, and every step we take.

No matter how long the road may feel today, remember this truth: God has not stopped being good.

"The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made." — Psalm 145:9
