Good Day NEMSU-LC,
I'm writing to let you know that the various YES (Young Economist Society ) Organizations at our school will be holding elections for new officer positions in 2024-2025. This is an incredible opportunity for any students interested in developing their leadership skills and making a real impact on our school community.
The YES Organizations include clubs and groups like the Community Service Club, Environmental Club, Diversity & Inclusion Club, and many others. Each of these important student-led initiatives is looking to elect new presidents, vice presidents, secretaries, treasurers, and other officer roles for the upcoming school year.
Serving as a YES Organization officer will allow you to:
- Advocate for issues and ideas that you're passionate about
- Collaborate with dedicated peers who share your interests
- Gain valuable leadership experience to prepare you for the future
- Make tangible improvements to our school and local community
The election process will be starting soon, so I encourage all interested students to start thinking about which YES Organization you'd like to get involved with, and what kind of positive changes you'd want to focus on as an officer.
