Public Advisory ❗️

Temporary Limitation of Non-Essential Travel

Due to the recent heavy rains and flooding, several roads and bridges within the Municipality of Leon have been damaged or remain unsafe for travel.

The Local Government Unit of Leon, through the MDRRMC, strongly advises the public to avoid non-essential travel until affected roads and bridges have been declared safe. Those who must travel for emergencies or essential purposes are urged to exercise extreme caution, follow road closures and traffic advisories, and never attempt to cross flooded or damaged roads and bridges. The Municipal Engineering Office and response teams are continuously conducting inspections, clearing operations, and repairs to restore safe access.

We ask for everyone's cooperation as we work to ensure the safety of all Leonians.

Stay alert. Stay safe. Travel only when necessary.

Face-to-face classes at all levels in both public and private schools in the Municipality of Leon remain suspended on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, due to the continuing effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Residents are advised to continue monitoring official advisories from the Municipal Government of Leon for further updates.
