From June 1 to 5, Leon NHS- SRCY volunteers actively took part in deployment, showing their commitment to serve, respond, and make a difference in the community. Through teamwork and readiness, each day became an opportunity to help others and live out the true spirit of volunteerism.

Leadership is not built in titlesโ€”it is shaped in moments of trust, growth, and shared purpose.

On the second day of the training, the Leon NHSโ€“SRCY Council Officers engaged in leadership enhancement sessions, psychosocial support activities, and team-building challenges designed to strengthen not only their skills as leaders, but also their character as volunteers. Through reflection, collaboration, and meaningful interactions, the officers learned that leadership is not about standing above others, but about walking alongside them.

As they move forward into a new term of service, may they carry with them the lessons, friendships, and values gained from this experience. For every challenge faced together today becomes part of the foundation of the legacy they will build tomorrow.
