Day 2 Morning: Parade, Mass, and Induction of Officers

The St. Catherine Parochial School Grand Alumni Homecoming celebration continued on the morning of December 28, 2025.

The day began with a foot parade throughout the town, followed by a Holy Mass. The program featured a performance by the SCPS Drum and Lyre Corps and the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected officers of the St. Catherine Parochial School Alumni Foundation, Inc. (SCPSAFI).

The morning assembly concluded with a Keynote Speech delivered by Mr. Armando Cagampang.

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘀: 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻 & 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀

The SCPS@110 Grand Alumni Homecoming continued on the afternoon of December 27, 2025, combining organizational business with alumni fellowship.

The session included the election of the new set of Officers for the St. Catherine Parochial School Alumni Foundation, Inc. (SCPSAFI) and the recognition of Mrs. Macaria Caligan Capilarta, a centenarian alumna.

Alumni batches then showcased their camaraderie through group presentations. The first day of the 110th Anniversary celebration concluded with a fellowship featuring a live band, enjoying an evening of music, laughter, and shared memories.

𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡: 𝐒𝐂𝐏𝐒@𝟏𝟏𝟎 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 (Day 1)

A morning of grace and gratitude marked the start of the St. Catherine Parochial School Grand Alumni Homecoming on December 27, 2025.

SCPS's Grand Alumni Homecoming centered on a Eucharistic Celebration presided over by His Excellency Midyphil "Dodong" Billones, DD, Archbishop of Jaro joined by Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Herminio Tacardon, School Administrator Fr. Emmanuel G. Tuberada, and several Alumni Priests.

The morning’s events included:

A Grand Motorcade

Floral Offering at the bust of Fr. Van de Kamp to honor the school's founder.

The SCPS Alumni Foundation Report and a Keynote Address by Rev. Fr. Danny Montana.

This milestone anniversary serves as a testament to over a century of Catholic education and a shared commitment to the Catherinean legacy.

IN PHOTOS: Honoring the Legacy: A Floral Offering to Rev. Fr. Everardus Van De Kamp, MHM

On December 26, 2025, the St. Catherine Parochial School Alumni Foundation, Inc. gathered for a solemn floral offering at the grave of Rev. Fr. Everardus Van De Kamp, MHM, located at the Archdiocesan Shrine of Sto. Niño de Arevalo.

Held a day prior to the 2025 Grand Alumni Homecoming, the ceremony was presided over by the School Administrator, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel G. Tuberada. Joining the offering were select members of the Foundation's Board of Directors (2015-2025) to pay respects to the institution's founder.

Founded in 1915 by Fr. Van De Kamp, St. Catherine Parochial School has stood the test of time for more than 110 years, remaining a steadfast and historic institution within the Archdiocese of Jaro. This visit served as an occasion to honor a legacy of endurance, recognizing a mission of Catholic education that has persevered for more than a century.
