Before Home Free Global Crusade changed her life, Sister Vanessa once believed that being a good person was already enough. She lived for worldly things and searched for fulfillment in different places, yet something was still missing.

But through Home Free, she encountered a faith that truly transformed her life.

Her journey of faith was not easy, yet through every challenge came transformation and a testimony that would even touch her own family.

Now serving faithfully as an elder in Lemery Locale, Elder Vanessa’s story is a reminder that God can change a life completely and use it for His glory.

Honoring the life and ministry of our beloved, Ptr. Sayre G. Barbacena.

A faithful servant of God and His Church, he dedicated his whole life to the ministry. His life was a testimony of faith, humility, and unwavering devotion to his calling. He faithfully led the people of God, preached the Word with passion, and served with a heart that truly reflected Christ’s love.

He was a steadfast and compassionate leader, a loving husband and father, and a genuine friend to everyone blessed to know him. Through sickness and in health, in joy and in sorrow, he never wavered in his faithfulness to God, the Church, and the ministry entrusted to him. His life was fully surrendered, poured out in service to the Lord and His people.

Though he may be gone physically, his teachings, guidance, prayers, and love for the brethren will remain in our hearts forever.

“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” — Philippians 1:21

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” — II Timothy 4:7
