Behind every successful operation stands a woman whose quiet dedication ensures its success.

During the 27th Anniversary of Coast Guard District Bicol on March 25, 2026, and in celebration of Women’s Month, we proudly recognize the invaluable contributions of women in serviceβ€”proving that they are equally capable, resilient, and essential in every mission.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the CGADBCL Officer of the Year, who has exemplified excellence in her dual roles as DDAS for Operations of the 909th CGAS and as CGADBCL Officer serving as Staff for Human Resources. Though she may not always seek the spotlight, her unwavering commitment, professionalism, and hard work have significantly strengthened the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Congratulations, AUX LTJG NELSIE A LLAGAS PCGA. Your 909th CGAS family is truly honored and grateful to have you.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Coast Guard District Bicol, under the leadership of COMMO IVAN E ROLDAN PCG, for the recognition and continued support. Our gratitude likewise goes to AUX LCDR MARLENE G FLORES PCGA, Councilor of Guinobatan, Albay for her steadfast support to PCG achievements, to AUX CAPT RENATO B LIM PCGA our Squadron Director and to the entire 909th CGAS for their outstanding commitment and excellence in supporting the mission of the Philippine Coast Guard.

Through teamwork, success is achieved. The 909th CGAS takes great pride and honor in celebrating this well-deserved recognition.

Onward we go, PCGA.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: HUMANITARIAN OUTREACH

Under the steadfast command of AUX CAPT RENATO LIM PCGA, the 909th Coast Guard Auxiliary Squadron (CGAS) with full support from the personnel of Coast Guard District Bicol (CGDBCL), Coast Guard Station (CGS) Albay and Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Legazpi executed a highly successful Gift-Giving Activity and Feeding Program for approximately 160 children in the community.
